I know this is a way's off right now, but I'm putting this thread together well in advance because knowing me I'll forget to do it later on. The event is currently still being worked out, so if you think I've missed anything or would like to suggest a change please leave suggestions down below.
The precise dates and times are yet to be confirmed, but the event will likely start in mid-to-late September and take place in the early evening (for Europeans).

Forza 6 DIY GT Championship
Starts - Runs for 7 weeks
This championship will be loosely based on GTLM racing using a mixture of F1 and Le Mans series circuits. The premise is that the drivers in this event will take the road going versions of various GT endurance racecars and modify them to compete in a similar environment. The PI cap for this event will be R-830.
Everyone will be using the one of the cars listed below, with the modifications also listed below. Also, once you have chosen a car, you must stick with it for the duration of the event, so make sure you are happy with your choice before we start. With regards to tuning, you can tune cars as you see fit, but you CANNOT download anyone else's tunes. Doing so will result in a penalty.
Corner cutting and track extending will be punished harshly, especially on Le Mans and Catalunya. What I consider to be corner cutting is having more than 50% off on the inside of the track deliberately. If you do so by accident every now and then, that is okay. If you gain a position doing so just give it back and there will not be an issue.

Cars will be required to have some kind of racing livery, you do not have to have made it yourself, and it doesn't have to be a replica, but I do ask that your choice of livery fits the theme of the event.
Races will have the appropriate amount of laps for a race around 1.2 hours
