Any love?
This is my first Uncharted and I'm really enjoying it. I made sure to clue up on the previous 3 games for the sake of character knowledge and general story.
I'm about 3 hours in so far and from the get go I chose hard difficulty (personal preference, I chose hard regardless of game) as crushing seemd to be abit much but i will get round to it!
However it still isn't quite on the level of TLOU for me.
Feel free to post any hints, tips and trivia below I'm all ears (eyes), no spoilers for now!

I love it. Uncharted 4 is an amazing end to a beautiful story and it's one of the most beautiful games I have ever played (and I'm not just talking about the graphics here). I bought a PS3 bundle with the first Uncharted a couple of years ago and I've now bought a PS4 just to play part 4. It did not disappoint . I'm going to get the remastered collection soon, so I can replay all of them again in order.

first of i dont have a PS4, but i was able to watch a whole playthrough of Uncharted 4 on twitch, so this is just from the footage i have seen (no spoilers). But the game looked great, the level design was awesome, the characters and the voice acting are incredible, every aspect of this game seemed awesome, if you liked TLOU, there is a good chance you like this games too. Just as a quick reminder, Uncharted has a multiplayer too, from the footage i have seen you might wanna give it a shot.
Have fun with another masterpiece made by naughty dog

I've been a huge fan of the Uncharted series as well as TLOU for a while now. I've never gotten the chance to play the first three because I don't own a PS3, but I've watched playthroughs and a couple months ago I picked up the Nathan Drake collection (Remaster of the first three games) for the PS4. Same goes for TLOU, I've watched playthroughs when it released and picked up the remastered version for PS4 when that came out.
Picked up Uncharted 4 the day after it launched and I'm at chapter 13 at the moment. I'm having so much fun with it! =D I was very impressed by the visuals since I expected it to be a lot worse if I'm honest, like you said, the voice acting is awesome! Though the audio seems to lag behind the video about a second for me. Unsure whether it's the game or just my tv being weird. But it's only really noticeable during cutscenes and it doesn't bother me too much. So far I've only encountered one glitch/bug which is an AK47 firing automatically without me pulling the trigger, but that was fixed when I restarted the game. Sucked though, I was doing a great job stealth killing everybody and then BAM AK decided to fire on its own. =P Would like to mention that my sidearm didn't do that.
To me video games are one of the most amazing forms of art because so many different disciplines are combined and work together to create this amazing package of interactive media. And I think Naughty Dog is one of the best developers out there. I think that their team is really good at manipulating the emotions of the people who play their games. They manage to capture a certain emotion by story telling, directing and music that little other developers manage to do. For me at least. Just think about the end of the Prologue of TLOU, it gets me every time man. It's just a shame they exclusively develop games for Sony.
I also hope they don't do what they did with the first three (and Square Enix did it with the reboot of Tomb Raider as well) and insert some supernatural force type thing in this one. I really don't care for that. But time will tell I guess.
So yeah, I was really hyped for it and so far it's lived up to my expectations. I play it on the lowest difficulty since I'm horrible at aiming with analog sticks and I don't really care for the gunfights. I prefer the story and exploration aspect of the game a lot more. =)
Also, if it's your kind of thing. Keep an eye out for a game called Horizon Zero Dawn developed by Guerrilla Games (Dutchies represent!) it looked amazing when they showed it on E3 last year and I'm so hyped for it! Guerrilla Games is the developer who made the Killzone series. Personally, I don't care for Killzone but Horizon Zero Dawn looks like my type of game. =D
TL;DR Uncharted 4 is a really amazing game and you owe it to yourself to pick it up if you have a PS4 and dig these kind of games.

Best PS4 game and Uncharted game easily. I'm a huge fan of the series, my favourite series tied with GTA. I think its as close to perfect as it can possibly be. Finished the story last week and now playing multiplayer pretty much every day. Let me know if you ever want to party up for multiplayer when you get around to it.

Agreed with all. Don't get me started on the Soundtrack! Had a funny bug yesterday though. I think they were chapters 8/9, basically the cathedral / graveyard area whilst Nathan and Sam are in Scotland. Sam was like stuck in permanent stealth mode, even when we got spotted he would casually crouch around and choke out the Shoreline guys lmao I died and it kinda fixed itself but that was hilarious.

I wish Uncharted 3 gave you the choice if you wanted Nathan to end up with Chloe or with Elena.
I liked Chloe way better, more fun personalty and way hotter but the series sticks us with the relatively generic blonde girl of course. Very sad we didn't see Chloe in part 4.
Still, very fun series regardless. I just finished beating all 4 games on PS4. I put in a lot of hours this week, I averaged roughly 2 days per game and completed all 4 in more or less a week.

i will never understand why naughty dog changed the way they START their game somewhere between uncharted2 and 3
the one thing i hate about TLOU and uncharted4 (and actually unhcarted3 too) is the boring slow beginning. i will not play uncharted4 a third time because that game takes a few hours of boring gameplay before it gets going.
i replayed all old uncharted and i loved uncharted 2 for its powerful start! uncharted3? that young nathan part? boring! uncharted4, crash bandicoot? living room chat from a couple? WTF!
4 has the most flowy climbing parts, but the most annoying crosshair
2 has the very best shooting mechanics, but maybe a little too big hitboxes for the head.
TLOU was too strongly divided between story and action, there where no scary moments.
in the end, all i remember is that U3, U4 and TLOU are just too boring in the beginning to start them again. i'd want to fast forward the first hour or two.
the best thing about TLOU was its multiplayer. never had that much tactical sneaking ever!
