yes I do, great channel for cycling tips etc. I'll take a look at that, and the app. I've been meaning to get more into biking, I have a old road bike in my basement and a MTB I use to cross campuses at uni GCN is great for all things cycling and it helps you to get back into the sport, maybe we could get a strava group together once I get my new cyclocross bike

Gives it that competitive edge.

(racing-)cyclists on the road make me wanna go GTA irl. As soon as you got 3 of 'm with the same shirt on, they think they're running the TdF, and traffic rules donvt apply to them anymore.
I live in the hilly part of the Netherlands, so there are a LOT of cycling tourist here. I have to keep myself from running them over.
I should get me a MTB again tho, always had great fun with my old one. But I'm too lazy now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cyclist and ultra-marathoner here. I use strava as well. Great program. Never tried my hand at a triathalon because I hate swimming for sport. Mainly because I have drowned twice in the military due to training. Thank god for CPR right? Done a couple century cycle races, one 80 km footrace, a few 50km races, and near a dozen marathons. I don't keep count of how many short races I have done now.

Seems like you're a very experienced runner and cyclist.

I ran that with 5 mates and we did that as a 50km per runner race. It is a 322km relay race that usually is broken up into 5-10k segments. Worst race was the Air Force marathon. All motorway almost.

Just lots of practice. Military allowed me to do a lot of it though. Just cohesive lifestyles. I also had a lot of free time at university for shenanigans.

I do some road biking as well and use strava. GCN is indeed great. Another thing I discovered last winter is Zwift. When it gets cold and rinding outside on frozen roads gives no pleasure you can hook up your indoor trainer to your pc and race against others in real time. It is great fun. I never was a fan of indoor trainers but this has changed now zwift.com/You guys also follow the sport? Whenever I can I try to follow the spring classics and the grand tours.
