The Grotti X80 Proto Showcase

A brand new prototype race car has hit the most popular racing circuits of Los Santos and Blaine County and is taking the racing community by storm. Applauded for it's never before seen acceleration, unique handling, and it's high skill gap to drive it fast, this proper racing car has captured the hearts of many racing fans within only a few days of release. Now, it's time for a showcase of just what a proper performance race car can do.
In conjunction with Scuderia Grotti, Grotti F1, and You Tool Motorsports, we proudly present The Grotti X80 Proto Showcase! This event is a one day, 2 part series featuring 2, 1 hour long races that include several pit stops, a team dynamic of 2 people on a team, and an unrivaled feeling of ascetics.
Vehicle: All vehicles must be a Grotti X80 Proto. You do not have to own the car yourself if your teammate owns it, but having both of you own the car is very much preferred.
Vehicle Restrictions: This event is not only about the racing. With the roar of the engines, the popping of the exhausts, and the completely different atmosphere the X80 gives us, ascetics are just as important in this event as racing. The following modifications MUST be done to make your vehicle track ready.
1) Your car must be in your team's colors WITHOUT the crew logo.
2) No custom front splitter
3) Secondary Color Skirt
4) Race Wing
5) Stock Wheels
6) No Window Tint
Pits: Pits in this event are simple drive-through pits. You must take the allotted number of pits before the end of the race and you may not pit on either the first or the last lap of the race. You do not need to call out your pits as I trust you all to be honest.
Start Procedure: Spa will feature a classic sticky start from a stopped position and Montreal will feature a rolling start.
Grid: Grid will be randomized by teams, meaning that you will start next to your team mate on the grid. Grid will be classic 2 by 2 formation as seen in most other events.
Teams: You may not choose your sponsor for this event, but you may choose your team mate. You can find the full roster of preselected teams below. Claim on which team you would like to represent is first come, first serve, with the exception of previous team members in other NoDo events.

This brand new, old school configuration of DrKloden 's World Famous Spa-Francorchamps features the longest straight ever featured in regulated racing, coming in at over 3 km, that was discontinued in 1974 due to the large number of deaths that resulted when drivers failed to slow for a hairpin from 250+ mph. Now, after over 3 decades, the monstrous straight is back to claim more victims. When the chairman of the Spa Racing commission was asked why he brought it back, he responded with "Hey, who am I to tell you what to do".
This track is meant to not only test the X80's absolutely ludicrous top speed, but also it ability to take high-speed, high-traction uphill and down hill sweepers, as well as testing a drivers ability to control the throttle.

A fan favorite of ovivoJR 's F1 Series of tracks, featured in his Grotti F1 World Championship Events, Grotti F1 Montréal is the polar opposite of the first track in this event. It is a tight, technical, and short track that will push this car's turning to the limit and showcase the X80's claim to fame; it's acceleration. Getting the right line out of the many L turns here will be crucial for putting the power down out of them and taking off like a rocket. Tight tracks can mean that incidents will be frequent, so expect the unexpected and take it easy at the start of the race.
Also different from the first race, is that the weather man said rain could be a possibility, but not a certainty. Drivers will need to be prepared to face the elements as well as the other drivers and the tight turns.
