This treat is to discuss the hypercars and what you guys think of them. so i found this video, i think its the 1st drag race beteen those cars but its only the porsche 918 and P1 on youtube and it AWESOME!!! but i won't spoil it , so go ahead and watch. my personal favourite it the P1 becouse it just looks right for a hypercar and i'm not a big porsche fan altough i appreciate them and their technical design. and the ferrari laks a baddass wing .

I'm a big McLaren fan and I love the P1. 918 is great as well. But I think the Dark Horse is king. youtu.be/ruMHmxngtNw

I don't think I could pick one hypercar if my life depended on it.

The ducatti 1199 has 195 hp... Incredible torque! That plus it's lighter chassis makes me nervous. Lol add a power commander and 240 Kit...lookout. I have come up against numerous ducatti' s on the track, but my hayabusa has its work cut out it with this beast

Total tangental nitpick, but...
I've not ridden the new MV/Ducati (the MV merger is why I stopped racing), but when I was racing in CCS for Ducati Factory (999 era), the Power Commander was the easiest way to ruin that bike's injectors – PC + V-twin is a terrible combo. Maybe the new ones are better, can't say from personal experience, but thought it worth mentioning because, seriously, bad results, don't do that IRL...
That said, loving this thread. :-D

Can't speak for Ducatti... I have the Dynojet pC-5- critical for fuel management, and Gear/speed input. For example.. A 4 cylinder bike with 6 speed Trans, could have up to 24 separate fuel tables.

For 4-cylinder bikes, can't argue, PC or Dynojet should basically be factory options – absolutely essential (at least for Kawasaki and Honda; Suzuki had good stock chips in the GSXR last time I looked into it).
Shit, now my entire day will be spent missing my bikes. ;-[

So what i can make up from this threat is that they didn't skip out on the bike and actually took the fastest production bike? , i just like the looks of the ducati bikes and all i know is that they have reaaaally complicated engines that wear out quick.

No! :-P V-twins are mechanically simpler by far (1/2 or 1/4 the valves), and I got ~88k miles out of my 999S. The only comparable mileage I ever saw on a bike was from BMWs, never saw above ~25k on a Japanese bike in person.

oh but my teacher told me something about there being "desmodromic" valves (valves without valve springs) and he claimed those wear out quicker.

And as for " fastest" production.... Suzuki( hayabusa:) ),apriLia(RSV), mV Agusta (f4) and BMW (k1200) might have something to say about that.
