** UPDATE: THIS DOES NOT WORK AFTER THE BIKERS DLC. I'm still leaving the thread here though. Oh, and the bypass glitch still works fine, so if you have dupes on you, you can still sell them just like before. **
First of all, I did try this, so I know for sure it works. I speak from experience while writing these instructions This works on all new gen platforms btw (maybe old gen too, I'm not too sure).
Requirements:
I'm not sure if it works in invite only or crew sessions, I only did it in public ones. Find a chill public session, slam on passive mode, and you should be fine. You should always try the glitch with a non-upgraded car first, just to see if it works in your current session. In some sessions it works, in others it doesn't. So make sure it works before spending money on upgrading a car. Also, if it works for one person in a session, that doesn't mean it works for everyone, so always test it yourself first. I learned that the hard way
This might seem a lot when I write it down as instructions, but it takes no more than a few minutes to set up, and after that it's like a minute for every duplication. I just like to get rambly over details, that's why this seems long af. But trust me, it's very easy to do
1. Find a random car from the street. These are the most profitable cars: Schafter, Schwartzer, Sentinel (both XS and normal), Felon GT (the convertible one).
2. Smash it up (break the windows, whatever).
3. Drive into LSC and repair it. This is the point where you can fully upgrade the car if needed (that is once you made sure the glitch works in your current session, to prevent you from losing money)
Upgrades that add value to your car (in green):
4. Drive out of LSC, smash the car up again (don't wreck it too badly this time, just leave some visible marks. It will make sense later)
5. Drive to one of your garages. It doesn't have to be the one where you'll store the duplicates, it can be any garage. A full garage is handy here, but it's not a requirement. Make sure nobody is around, as the car will despawn if someone else is watching you do this! Park the car in such a way that the driver side door is near the blue circle, so that when you get out of the car, you would stand in it. Don't drive the car in your garage, because a car with a tracker does not work with this glitch! This is why a full garage is handy, because you won't accidentally drive in. Or if you don't have a full garage, a life-saving trick here is to bring up your interaction menu. That will get rid of the blue circle temporarily, so even if you park the car right there, you will not drive in automatically. Once you positioned the car correctly, put the menu away and exit the car (right into the blue circle), so that the garage sucks you in right away. If it doesn't happen right away, get back in the car and position it in a better way. Once you're in, simply walk back out. The car should still be there. Bring up the interaction menu again, so the ability to drive into the garage is disabled, just so you can safely get into the car and drive away without putting it into the garage.
6. At this point the car is ready to duplicate. Make sure you have a contact mission on your phone ready to accept (if not, call Gerald, Ron or Simeon to get one).
7. Start driving, and once you gain a bit of speed (you don't need too much, you just need to be moving really), accept the contact mission. Ideally you should do this right outside the garage where you want to store the cars, so you don't have to drive too far to save them. After you accept the invite, the car will continue rolling on its own, so it's a good idea to drive it towards a wall before accepting the mission, so it doesn't end up a block away from you. Also make sure it doesn't end up in the immediate proximity of your garage entrance. Ideally it should land like across the street from your garage or something like that.
8. Once on the mission lobby screen, simply back out of it.
9. You will spawn back on the street with the original car as well as as duplicate somewhere nearby (it takes a few seconds for the duped one to spawn, just keep looking around)
10. Take the duplicate and drive it into a garage to save it, then as soon as you get out of it, haul ass out of your garage to make sure the original doesn't despawn. It doesn't tend to do that, but it can happen. Always save the duplicate, never the original! This is the reason we smashed up the original car the second time, so it's easy to tell the difference! Duplicates can't be duplicated again (unless prepared with the right steps), and also the original can't be sold or stored. So always use the og to make dupes, and the dupes to make money.
11. Get back in the og car, and repeat from step 6 until you have enough duplicates
A few things to remark:
A fully upgraded car (one of the models I mentioned in the first step at least) will sell for $200k. Storing 50 of them on a second character is about 10 mil in total
The original car can sometimes despawn, but that's rare though. 95% of the time it's fine if you just leave it like right across the street from the garage so it stays out of sight for the least amount of time possible while you save a dupe. If you remain in free roam, it will not despawn while you're in the session even if you leave the area though.
Duplicated cars can only be stored or sold by you, so sadly you cannot spawn cars for your friends, or anything like that.
Another glitch to bypass the 48 minute cooldown when selling them:
Get into a duped car (or any car for that matter, this glitch is universal), sell it at lsc, and as soon as you get out of lsc and you see the +$200000 (or however much the car is worth) in the corner, unplug your network cable. The game will throw you back into single player. Plug your internet back, and go back online. Repeat.
Make sure to get a garage that's near an lsc. This will speed up the process a lot. Also set your spawn location to the garage you're selling the cars from, so when you get back online, you can immediately hop in one and drive it to lsc right away. It's the best to just launch an invite only session every time you go back from single player since it takes less time to load because you're not connecting to other people, once again speeding things up.
With all this in place you can sell a car once every 2 mins or so.
The best thing about this is that combined with the cooldown bypass glitch, there's literally no limit to it. You can keep making dupes and selling them all day without having to wait for anything, or bumping into any other limitations

First of all, I did try this, so I know for sure it works. I speak from experience while writing these instructions This works on all new gen platforms btw (maybe old gen too, I'm not too sure).
Requirements:
- At least a few empty garage spots, but ideally 10-20 or more. I used my second character for this.
- As many car upgrades unlocked as possible (this might be an issue with second characters, that's why I'm putting it here)
- A few hundred k of money to be able to afford full upgrades for a street car
- A bit of patience, since it doesn't always work the first time, but once you get it right, you can farm it to infinity
