I had a little idea today to remake the Los Santos GP. However, to mix things up, it is in reverse. Have a look and tell me what you think: rsg.ms/eb4fe02

Haha, I was just driving there and the thought popped into my head and I had some spare time so I thought "Why not"? Me an d Sly Teh Beaver races there today, he seemed to like it, he was first I was second: we had some randoms in, including a guy from RACE crew who rage quit after realising he wasn't going to win. There is just one problem with the track at the moment which resulted from a lack of props- you can go through the tire stacks, I will need to fix that. Have you had a go on it? The track feels faster but the times are slower.

Ah, you should remake it it gets really confusing but if you have the map of LS GP open on your laptop like I had then it becomes much easier. I also had to make a few alterations to suit the race going the other way but only in terms or checkpoints being on the other side of the road.

After I get my kids to bed I will try it out, but at first glance on the Social Club it seems like the tire lines for the last (usually the first) hairpin are too close to the apex, may not be as wide an area. I will see later.

Ok, got a chance to look at it. Overall, great job. Some of the checkpoints are slightly off, but those aren't too big of a deal since you are attacking the track from a different angle now.
There are two things I think need fixing for sure though:
The tire-lines around the last hairpin, they definitely need to come out more.
The checkpoint for the 2nd hairpin is too far south. It's entirely possible to pull off a perfect corner around the grass island and not hit the checkpoint.
Also of note, that up-hill left that's now on the track before the last hairpin, lined by tire lines? That's a dangerous turn if overshot. Tire lines are the devil.

I wish there were reverse options for tracks in the menus like in burnout, c'mon GTA
that said I applaud anyone willing to do this for GTA tracks, commendations =)

Just updated the track. Had to add a few modifications to make it play nicer in reverse. There is a really good line into the first hairpin that allows you to take it perfectly.

Its definitely not as fast but alot of the corners seem to link up smoother and some corners which were flat-out originally aren't now so beware! Ive just found the forum but I race every day so look me up. Sly Teh Beaver.

^ One of the rarer statements around here. IKR? This week is a busy time for me. Lots of work and then babysitting. I will try. I wanna get screen caps of the track layout. The mini map online does not do the track any justice outside approximations
