"A recreation of the highly technical Complex String test track from Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec. Designed as the ultimate test track to test the extremes of both man and machine, this track features many challenging sections filled with a diverse variety of corners, including chicanes, hairpins, etc. Only the best drivers will come out on top in this 5 mi. circuit race. This track was designed to mimic the original track as accurately as possible alongside GT3's track analyzer." This track took me about 9 1/2 hours to make, and I think it's safe to say I'm sticking to making my own tracks after this. I will say, the Stunt Race creator is advanced and intuitive, but it has many flaws that made me want to bash my head against the wall. I'm proud of this track, even though it's crap. This rendition of Complex String doesn't have the charm the original had, with GTA's vastly different physics and the fact that the track lies over an ocean, but I hope it's still fun to drive on. Take your finest racing cars for a spin on this advanced test track and tell me what you think. If you find any issues with the track, feel free to tell me so that I can improve it. Unfortunately, some issues, like the lack of barriers in the 90° corners, cannot be resolved to my knowledge because of the 150 prop limit that I hit (but if there is a workaround to that please let me know). UPDATE: Added pipe piles as barriers to off-track areas of the 90° corner section. Due to dynamic prop constraints, these could not be added to the 90° corners near the end of the course.
Please notify me if you have any complaints to the recreated course, and I will fix the issues to the best of my ability.
