Toby Maguire is still the best Spiderman imo - I reckon he could have fitted in with the Avengers dynamic (if they were going that way) Also I see, quite a lot of you watch Arrow and Flash - anyone seen Daredevil? (Unless I missed any of those posts mentioning that) The only thing good about Maguire's Spiderman trilogy was JK Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson. Garfield was the closest one in character to Spiderman TAS, which I personally keep in highest regard. It was just amazing. Same goes for Batman TAS. I guess it's just getting used to things like Kevin Conroy as Batman's voice and Mark Hammil as Joker. But let's talk about the newest elephant in the room connected to DC: Arkham Knight on PCDid you... well, not play obviously, but try to play?

I particularly enjoyed Maguire as Spiderman, bar the third film, his Spiderman films were amazing. Garfield was quite lacking I felt, his films weren't as enjoyable - the second Amazing Spider Man, was below par. But yes, JK Simmons was a good thing in Spiderman, we can agree on that As for Arkham Knight, no not yet - I took the time to look at some of the reviews and my word - feel sorry for anyone who pre-ordered.

Maguire was excellent as Spiderman, if of course your point is to show that people with high-function autism spectrum disorders like Aspergers can be superheros too.

Maguire's Spiderman reminds me of Episode II Hayden Christiansen in terms of acting... And in more appropriate comparisons - Emma Stone > Kristen Dunst

Hey that's unfair. Nobody is as bad as Mannequin Skywalker himself.
Yes, Emma Stone > Dunst, but also I would support Garfield over Maguire in terms of nailing the character.

In matter of movie quality. Spiderman 2 has it. ASM was rubbish imo but i agree Garfield nailed the personality

Yes, that was what I said earlier, Garfield made a pretty good witty Spiderman with comic-like oneliners and reactions. Maguire was too serious and emo.

Love the genre... But ... Can someone that is more familiar tell me how these two turn against each other. Or was this done just for Zack Snyders movie. :/

Love the genre... But ... Can someone that is more familiar tell me how these two turn against each other. Or was this done just for Zack Snyders movie. :/ in the the popular graphic novel by Frank Miller, Superman is working for the government and at the time and Superheroes and general vigilantes are outlawed and batman resumes activity after 20 or so years and is well aged but in shape. Superman is then told to take of batman whether to ask him to stop or to the extreme of killing him. In the end Bruce takes a drug that makes his heart stops as if he dies but not before he wins the fight using a synthetic kryptonite and is dubbed with one of the most famous quotes apart from "I'm batman" "We could have changed the world…now…look at us…I've become a political liability…and…you…you're a joke. I want you to remember, Clark…in all the years to come…in your most private moments…I want you to remember…my hand…at your throat…I want…you to remember…the one man who beat you." This is the most famous batman v superman fight and is not canon to any comics other than Frank Millers series. The new movie is said to be heavily based on the graphic novel but likely entirely different based on the trailer. I'm thinking it goes like Superman is unknown, and no one knows what more he's capable of and if his intentions are pure. Bruce being in metropolis at the time of the incident that took place in man of steel, he decides to come out of retirement and as he said "He has the power to take out the entire human race....I must destroy him" or something along those lines. I think the fight will be based on Batman in his fashion not trusting superman and while all this i believe doomsday is what comes out of that lexcorp building and is what causes superman, wonderwoman, cyborg and batman to all be friends in the end and supes gains his trust. lovely story sorry for the tl;dr

That looks like a pretty solid run down of the trailer to me terrellpeters. I think that Wonder Woman, Cyborg and any other Justice League members that are as yet, unannounced and not shown in the trailer, were in metropolis during the aftermath in order to check out Superman for themselves...particularly Wonder Woman. She always has, and always will be protective of Themyscira and will go to great lengths to keep the outside world from knowing about it or finding it. By the end of the film, will people know that Diana Prince comes from this tribe of Amazons and will she begin her Ambassadorial role? All I know is that Gal Gadot was a very good casting in my eyes

I read this movie will lead up to the Justice League... Which will be given to Zack Snyder and Chris Terrio to right and direct. Hope they do not f@$k it up! Lol
