Brickyard 100 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
NASCAR LS
Saturday, October 15, 2016—Broadcast at 18:00 (6:00 PM) UTC
This is it! Welcome everyone to the best fall race of them all, brought to you by NASCAR LS here on Weazyl! Today is a beautiful day, no clouds in sight, as our racers prepare their ETR1's for the Brickyard 100, here at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. 100 miles of grueling track to master as we start off our pre-season of The Pursuit in Los Santos. Note that this event is not part of the Pursuit Series, it is an independent event that will precursor the beginning of the regular season in 2017.
This race and NASCAR LS is sponsored by Dense, a proud sponsor of NASCAR LS since its beginnings this year. Dense. Made USA.
And Kronos. The Swiss company has been has kept time in the most dull yet precise way since 1809, and now does the same for racing. Kronos. The End of Time.

Procedure:
• Pre-Race: Friend requests must be sent to host. Send with message "NASCAR LS." Organization into the lobby and in-between lobbies will be done via a temporary room in Slack. The room is planned to start 15 minutes before pre-lobby starts.
• Audio Cues: All other times will be coordinated via mic of the host. If you have a mic, feel free to speak, but stay in game chat. Do not go into a private party where you cannot hear the calls of the host and/or pacecar.
• Qualifying: At qualifying, every racer will have 3 laps (4 laps total, including 1 "up-speed" lap) to set their best lap time. Order will then be determined from these lap times. Racers will arrange in lines of two on the inside, near the finish line, and racers will be given 2 second interval starts from each other. If there is a full lobby, we will split it up to two qualification events to avoid collisions (Stunt races cannot be changed to non-contact). Do not vote on the race until the host does. Vote to replay mission post-qualifying.
• Rolling Start: There will be one lap at the very beginning with a pacecar, so that the race will begin with a rolling start. Starting lineup will be in two rows, two cars per row. Lead car takes the outside line, second car stays a couple feet behind. Pacecar will take to the front of the lineup, and start rolling at about 40 mph. Cars will follow the car in front of them, staying at least 1 car length away from the cars in front, and a couple feet away from the car to their side. Green flag will be signaled via flare from pacecar after one rolling lap.
• Pitting: Pitting is required 3 times within the race. Pacecar will be watching and counting. Any racer who does not pit will be DQ'd and counted as DNF. No pitting under yellow.
