What,if any, forms of real life racing do you compete in?
I personally participate in r.c. racing. For r.c. I do dirt oval latemodel racing from fall to spring and in the summer I race 4x4 short course trucks. THESE ARE NOT LIKE THE R.C. CARS YOU CAN BUY AT WALMART. The cars we drive are specifically designed for this style racing. Me and my dad have 6 cars overall with close to $1000 in each. There are multiple different styles for on-road,dirt oval, and off-road racing that range from 1/4 scale to 1/32 scale so there probably something out there for you.

I'm not racing in anything competitively. A couple years ago, I was trying to get into motorcycle club racing. I was doing trackdays, had full-on track gear, tool-kits, EZ-Ups, track stands. Even sat in a parking lot at a moto dealer, with cash-in-hand, debating to get a brand new bike dedicated for the track/racing, but decided to postpone it. After that, I tore my shoulder rotator cuff and sprained my ankle in a crash (highside) at a trackday. Didn't do surgery, so I took a longer break to heal and for rehab physically. My bike's fixed and in track-dress, but I'm just too busy to ride it, let alone take it to the track. I'd like to get back into it once things settle down.

Used to do a ton of road bike racing (pedal not motor). Haven't in a few years.
Not certain if I'll pick it up again or not.

I've also been wanting to get into go-kart racing, but haven't been able to keep it up. Just multiple, fun races trips with friends...

I used to compete on a pro level in downhill skateboarding (In case you haven't heard of it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwFek4V5aP4). It was pretty fun, but I got to the point where it would have to be my life to keep going, and I was pretty middle of the road for a pro, so I just skate around for fun now.

I once got a silver medal for a 50m athletic sprint at school when I was about 13. I've also been karting quite regularly and occasionally get the fastest lap out of the group (of people who don't kart at all).
That's about it. Almost all of my real life racing is done as a spectator, not a participant.

I used to 100m in school and competed around the county for a bit I also do a bit of karting, only arrive and drive stuff because thats all I can afford with college and a weekend job. However, I went to Buckmore Park in Kent recently, and on my very first session there I got 1st out of 18, including against my college friend who has been karting for 7 years...
