Ive started reading the actual accord, all 27 pages. I'm on page 8 now, but still haven't found any legitimate reason besides not caring and bein pro business as to why he would drop the US out of it I've also seen some people say that it's not unusual because Syria and Nicaragua aren't in the agreement But Nicaragua isn't in the agreement because it's government argues the accord isn't ambitious enough, while Syria simply doesn't have the resources or the ability to limit it's emissions due to the civil war (I've also seen some sources say it wasn't involved in the deal at all, again due to the war). So it's literally Trump taking a dump on the agreement for no reason at all, and making the U.S. look like buffoons despite every electoral map on the issue says the U.S. needs to help in reducing climate change. Though we have some states forming an unofficial coalition now, right now California, Washington State, and New York are in it. They're pledging to try and work with the accord and reduce their carbon footprint on a state level if the federal government won't make it mandatory. I kinda wonder where the state's power went, because I've only ever seen the federal government come to consensus for the entire country my whole life, never the state's (if I understand how federal vs state government works correctly anyway)

Over reacting or not (since many of the jobs available for my field are currently in Europe), anyone wanna give any suggestions? What field? Physics! CERN seems a bit of a focus right now, considering LHC, but focus would be either particle physics or astrophysics. Willing to experiment tho (pun intended)

I find it fascinating that the protests see such a boost in popularity alongside a nationwide outcry after him failing to clearly condemn a voter clientele he has quite frankly always catered, but the world having to rely on the reasonability of Kim Jong Un to deescalate and lead us away from the brink of nuclear warfare is totally OK.
I personally find it scary that politics -and that's true at least throughout the entire Western world, not only the USA- are completely driven by social media shitstorms, mostly on mere side note news and issues of political correctness, while real pressing political issues don't receive much public attention, from multi-trillion $ tax avoidance by multinational companies to a proxy war grinding a whole country to crumpets and destabilizing an entire world region for decades to come.

The Protests?
Its more of the same. Seriously. Trump is proving his complete ineptitude, utter failure to grasp reality, and generally doing shit that should get him impeached. In other words, same shit different day.
It played out exactly the way I expected when I first heard about the protests. Just don't get how anyone takes him seriously.
Guy rams a car into a bunch of people? Quick! Condemn the Muslim terori.. he was white? Oh. Who cares then? Oh, people are upset I've said nothing, OK make some sort of general comment of disappointment but lets make sure not to let anyone think I am condemning actual white people, blame everyone, that should do it. Wait, one of my supporters just cut all ties because i wont condemn the people fighting for white rights? Quick! Get me my Twitter phone! I must tell the world how little I think about him!
Oh, its been a few days and lots of people are still complaining about me because i wont condemn my people? Well we cant have that, people might start thinking I am not the most amazingly popular man in the world! Oh fine, I guess I'll say whatever it is they want me to say so they will like me again.

I think Trump was right to denounce the violence from both sides. The main stream media is always quick to point the finger at far right extremism as the cause of violence, but they turn a blind eye to left wing extremists, like Anifa, BLM, etc. They're two sides of the same coin. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horseshoe_theory

Any foreigners thoughts on the protest? The one in Charlottesville? That it's a damn shame that there are still people retarded enough to be neo-nazi in 2017. And that it's again stupid to see the media and police qualify the guy who rammed into the crowd a "murderer" rather than calling him for what he is: a domestic terrorist. I wonder if they would have sung the same tune if the guy was a Muslim or simply with middle-east origins.

Realy. I mean, god, all those poor Nazis that have been mown down by lefties in cars.... It is bullshit, both sides are not equally bad, or equally violent, and even if they were the MAIN reason people are upset is that the instant a Muslim pulls something like this Trump is parroting his usual despicable Muslim terrorist line. Hell, remember that attack on a mosque in Canada? Trump pulled his usual "Muslims are evil" crap, multiple tweets, and then when it was discovered the man responsible was a white Canadian Trump promptly said? Absolutely. Bollocks. All. No retraction. No condemnation of the evil white nationalist. Nothing. Better to keep quiet and hope that his followers keep assuming it was a Muslim.
