Formula Apex Endurance Championship
Date: Sat 18th Feb Time: 7:00PM UTC
Before signing up make sure you have read the Nonchalant Dominance Crew Guidelines.
What is this?
This is an 8 race endurance championship that will take place over 8 weeks, Each week there will be a 1 hour 30 minute race that will be run in sports cars and will consist of up to 14 teams each with 2 drivers both driving the same car. All teams will be allowed to pick the car they drive for the entire championship and can also drive for a team that is in the pit lane part of the forum, if you wish to drive for your own team you may do so.
Qualifying
The start positions have been selected as fairly as possible!
Race day
There will be a pre-lobby open at 6:00 UTC for everyone to join. I will then open the race lobby at 6:45pm UTC, At 6:50 UTC i will launch the race and we will then proceed to be lead by the safety car on a formation lap to get in to our starting positions which will be posted on the forum the day before the race. When we come to the start line the safety car will stop after the line and place sticky bombs as we stop in the correct grid box for our position the safety car will then proceed to the pit area. When we are all ready there will be a 10 second warning and the race will begin after the sticky bombs are detonated!
Pit-stops
There will be 3 compulsory pit-stops, when you stop you will need to wait for 20 seconds, you will be signaled to leave by a gun shot, you are also allowed to count your own 20 seconds but for things to be fair leave when you hear the gun shot go off. You will be allowed to make them as and when you wish. If you miss any stops, 30 seconds will be added for each pit you missed.
