goodluck with that. Im behind security Well you've seen how good that security is Not allowed to say much, but I'll tell you it's a lot stricter now than it was back in 2008. That said, If I somehow wanted to drive on the runway and block it with my car, I could do that. But I've had quite a bit of background checks so they know I am a sane person.

Mortgage is good, however you lose a lot of flexibility (in terms of moving and such). Also owning property is not always cheaper than renting (check Google scholar for more information). My understanding is that the UK has pretty poor rent controls compared to other countries so its better to buy a property here rather than rent. When I was looking at buying a flat the mortgage payments were similar to what I was paying in rent although it was in a slightly cheaper area.

This might be the case, however you should always consider the hidden costs of owning property. F.ex. renovation & maintenance costs. Maybe this might not be that big of a deal with a flat, but my point is, that you should always look at the big picture.

Eh, I'll post my shit here as well. 31.
Work from home sysadmin for data management software for a land title company. Also do PC Administration and maintenance for the company. I also do some basic network troubleshooting for our firewalls and static IPs for WAN and LAN printing.
Prior to this I was in enterprise technology sales. Business to business stuff.
And before that I was a paramedic for 4 years. Paramedic for a private ambulance service. I dropped out of school in 2006 to become a firefighter/paramedic for a city in Georgia. Then the 2008 economic crash happened and all government hiring for firefighters stopped. So I worked as a paramedic for a private company. Absolute shit pay and too much stress.
And before that I was in college as a music performance major with a minor in art history. But I worked retail doing PC sales back when you could make good money selling PCs.

I'll share my shit as well... still 20, so not much to say, officially: -I study Mechanical Engineering at the RWTH Aachen University here in Germany and still work as a lifeguard when I'm home occasionally. Now the unofficial: -Worked as a lifeguard well before I was 18... -Worked at a local farm with 300 bulls - first just feeding and taking care of them, but tamed and trained them to make my life easier... and have fun with these cute, man-tall, 600-800kg beasts -Build PC's (with sadly only a few crazy watercooled, modded ones amongst them) for everybody I know and their cousins -Currently modifying guitars and tube amps for some people I guess I like to take a hobby of mine, gather as much information as I can, apply it and add my own findings, realise I took it too far and just roll with it

I'm 24 and I graduated as a chemical engineer. My first job starts next week (petrochemical industry). Hobbies include: - playing guitar like Eddie Van Halen and Yngwie Malmsteen (or at least trying to ) - writing music (mainly metal but also piano and cello pieces) - overall fitness (weights, HIIT, sprinting,...)

I am the head of first line risk and compliance for a major Australian life insurer. Prior to that I was a senior risk and compliance analyst in an Australian investment bank with global reach (biggest M&A advisor in North America!). My day to day involves usually having to get people for whom you've already said "doing this increases the risk of this bad thing" out of the trouble they got into when doing "this".
But, cynicism aside, it involves helping the business respond to operational, reputational, emerging and regulatory risks in a time of significant policy and regulatory oversight. What does the law say we're doing? Are we doing it? How are we going to do it? Did that breakdown in product design or process trigger a breach of regulations or laws, and if so, what are we doing about it?
My average day is 80% meetings, of which roughly half I actually should be in and the other half because I usually have the answers people don't have and ask the questions people don't ask, which means I can tune in and out as needed.
It pays well - I just bought my second Omega Seamaster - and I can transfer the skills to other industries. Telecommunications? Check. Pharmaceuticals? Check. Property and construction? Check! Airlines? Check. Automotive? Check - for example, a good risk and compliance manager might have stopped VW from getting into shit with emissions...

Am 25 today... and I worked... close to nothing.
Finished school with 19, close to 20. (13 german school years and got in school when I was 6 years old Worked 9 weeks for a company that produces network devices. Last time I earned money for work. Started my studies (NanoEngineering) During the studies, I worked some time for a research institute, because my studies said I had to. (Not payed) Got my bachelor degree with 24, because I am pretty lazy. Now doing my master, working somewhere in the University at the moment, unpayed, need it for my degree.
With I could start actually working, but bachelor degree is like no degree at all here.

Well I am 30... uh... let me just do a count here... 35, and I currently work as a Taxi Driver.
The work is a little thin on the ground so the pay isn't amazing unless you pretty much live in the car, and I value my downtime too much for that. Still the work is pretty flexible, can negotiate the hours with the guy who owns the car, (hell you can pick and choose whatever you like if its your own car) and in my case the guy who owns the car i drive is exceptionally chilled, if I so choose not to bother working on the slower nights, he is happy to let me. I gotta admit, its a cushy little job, relaxed, low stress.
Rapidly reaching the "Been there, done that" stage tho.
Still. As a University dropout with no real ambitions or careers that draw my attention, I take what I can get.

I've been working with a youtuber for over a year now, Sparkles , I mainly make fragclips of csgo, and inspect demos from our website submission. when i ended school i went to france to work at construction sites, but i gave up 3 mounths into that hell(belive me, true hell), then came back to portugal, actualy did graphic design as a job for half a year in a sports clothing store(which was what i studied 3 years for), but then fliped my shit and quit because i was too stressed there, and after a few mounths wanting to kms i got super lucky and found a dream job.. Yoooo edit some of our NoDo CS:GO member's CS highlights Kappa but shit, editing for Sparkles, always love those.
