FIA Formula 1 has made a stop to the city of Los Santos for a one off round of what is regarded around the world as the pinnacle of motorsport.

Details and Clarification:

Pit window:
There will be a pit window that will open at 50% of race completion by laps, which is when the leader reaches lap 17. You can pit before if you are damaged but it will not count towards your mandatory pitstop. You may not pit on the last lap. Everyone must send me evidence (Photo, video, or voiced in the race) of taking a pit stop after the pit window has opened.  TheUltimateSucka Is pitwatching so GG to him for doing that. Try to shoot your cars during gridding so they can repair, but if you know you're going to pit before the pit window, Sucka will try to shoot your car as you pass by.

Qualifying:
Qualifying will be a 1 lap noncontact race around the track using Custom Turismos. If you are borrowing a Turismo for the event, pick a stock Turismo for qualifying. We will all start on top of each other (because noncontact), and will set off at my go. Grid order will be the order of finishing.

Teams:
All drivers must be in a pitlane approved team, in pairs of two, using the teams proper colors. Drivers must also affix neons (just the back neon is fine) to identify which driver it is. Driver one's neon is Red, Driver two's neon is Yellow. Team entry will be first come first serve, the first 12 teams to sign up will get a spot as a team.

 If you enter without a team or alone, you will be placed into the reserves until you join someone else's teams, we must have pairs.

 If we end up with an odd number of sign ups you can run as an independent or go solo with a team of your choosing. If we have many teams of one person I will ask if someone will join another persons team. If you're all really adamant about having you team in the event, you can combine your sponsors together.  If you dont pick a team by a certain date, I will give you the team you will be using.

Wheel type:
You can pick any wheel from these categories:
Sports, Tuners, or Muscle


I WILL disqualify cars not using one of these three and/or not applying neons, and I will be checking in the prelobby.

Penalties:
I cant watch everyone race, so I will sum up penalties like this: pics or it didnt happen. If we finish the event, and nobody says anything about an issue, than I can only assume that there was no issue. If you do have an incident to report though, please provide evidence in the form of video. Penalties will be given out in a case by case basis ranging from time added to the total race time to total disqualification from the event standings. I will be using the tl:dr posted above, and the Nonchalant Community Guidelines on Racing (http://nodo.freeforums.net/thread/256/nonchalant-dominance-community-guidelines) as references on what is to considered to be clean race craft.


Severity of penalties will be decided by me, and if it really starts to escalate or get controversial I will employ some of the more veteran racers in the community to come to a consensus.

Also, if you cause a first corner incident, I will give you the most biblical of penalties. Take it slow guys.
