Station Wagon MultiClass Racing
Date & Time: February 11, 9:00 pm UTC
Date & Time: February 11, 9:00 pm UTC
I get it - you have family, you need a lot of storage space in your car, you don't have the money for a fast car.
But that doesn't mean you can't race!
Bring out your station wagon, your daily commute workhouse, and take that thing to its limits!

Vehicles:
The only vehicles allowed in this event are the Stratum (GT1), Ingot (GT2) and Regina (GT3).
Vehicle modifications:
Since these are your daily commute cars, no offroad tires and no Custom Tires option (the option that adds white text to your tires).
Every other modification is allowed.
I was able to aquire Dynasty 8 Motorsport as a sponsor for this event, you will be able to repaint your daily workhouses to form colourful racing teams.

Starting procedure:
The Grids will be randomized.
I will make the Grids when the signups are full or if the race starts in 24 hours, depending on what will happen first.
The race will be started with the explosion of sticky bombs. I will write the time after the bombs can explode in the in-game chat, and announce it on Teamspeak. The race will not start when the timer hits "GO" !

Pitting procedure:
You have to take two pitstops. These vehicles are not fast cars that are made to race, these vehicles don't like being pushed a lot. They will wear out and have to get maintenanced during the race.
I will try to aquire a pitwatcher who would be responsible for noting down the pitstops of the participants. If the event budget doesn't allow this, you will have to call out your pits (either via Teamspeak or via the in-game chat).
A pitstop is defined as a pass through the pitlane, there is no need to stop and wait.
Be careful while re-entering the track!
You are not allowed to pit on the last lap. Pitting on the first lap is allowed, but it will not count towards your mandatory pits total.

Teams' championship:
Finishing position | Points |
1st | 15 |
2nd | 12 |
3rd | 10 |
4th | 8 |
5th | 6 |
6th | 4 |
7th | 3 |
8th | 2 |
9th | 1 |
These points apply to each GT seperately. The first driver in GT3 will recieve the same 15 points as the first driver in GT2 and in GT1.
If you disconnect during one of the races, your team will still get points based on how much distance you completed in the race. For example, the first person in GT1 who disconnects will finish 9th in GT1, the second 8th, the third 7th etc.
This applies to each GT simultaneously.
The teams' point count is determined by the points of all three drivers; the team with the overall highest point count will win this event.
Participants:
Participants need to be a member of Nonchalant Dominance and must meet event eligibility requirements to sign up.
Standard NoDo Racing Rules apply, including no weaving on straights and blue flags for your own GT.
To clarify: you only have to obige blue flag rules if someone from your GT is lapping you. If you lap a slower GT then you, you will have to work yourself around him.
If you are not blue-flagged, you have the full right to take the racing line!
In order to not have an unfair advantage during the race, you have to cap your game at 60 fps. You can either enable the in-game VSync (if your monitors' maximum refresh rate is 60Hz), or run an external program like RivaTuner.
Be on the Nonchalant Dominance Teamspeak server so that you can hear information of the event host before and during the event.
You can either sign up with a team of approved pit-lane quality, or sign up as a freelance driver. Also state the vehicle you want to use. Feel free to ask teams that are still missing a driver!
You can also sign up as a "fill" for a team, meaning you will get your GT assigned as soon as one spot is remaining in the team's lineup.
