and 2016 proved that americans suck at f1 If this statement is about the results of Haas (I assume it is as there's no US drivers) then you're wrong. Haas was a brand new team. Many new teams that join take over from other teams, such as Renault taking over Lotus, which means they have a good start. Haas had to start from scratch, to score the points they did in their debut season, while focusing most of their attention to the 2017 car, is impressive. Next season they'll be consistently in the points I'm sure.

I expect most of the technicians and engineers are British too if the team is actually based near Milton Keynes like almost, all the others. Correct me if I'm wrong. I expect he was on about the GPs themselves, but personally I think as a whole last year the races were quite poor, even Silverstone which is normally a highlight for me.

So happy to see both Flying Finns (Bottas & Räikkönen) driving competitive cars. Gonna be a very exciting season to watch.

Americans don't like sports where they're not winners. Speaking of, the USA's best drivers lost to Sebastian Vettel. A lone German. #MAGA lol StoryVS why don't you like Bottas at Mercedes? He's a fantastic driver and this is a car worthy of his talents.

"Liberty Media has confirmed Bernie Ecclestone will surrender his role as chief executive of Formula 1 to Chase Carey with immediate effect."
So.. who is this new guy?
Skysports quotes Carey "I am excited to be taking on the additional role of CEO. F1 has huge potential with multiple untapped opportunities. I have enjoyed hearing from the fans, teams, FIA, promoters and sponsors on their ideas and hopes for the sport."

I would know I went to Laguna Seca once and almost everyone I talked to were not American but if they were they strongly disliked NASCAR. Not saying ALL of us hate NASCAR but it's a fair assumption to make

It seems like a good thing that Ecclestone has finally been replaced but only time will tell. Liberty Media are meant to be more keen on keeping traditional European races rather than taking races to places with barely filled stadiums or questionable regimes.

F1 doesn't need more money, it needs more entertainment. If that can't be provided, people may start going elsewhere, myself included.
