So these fictional part man part wolf beasts seen in many shows and movies. I hear them commonly go by 3 different names. What I'm just wondering however. Is it just 3 different names applied to the same creatures, or is all 3 of them a different entity?

A wendigo and Werewolf are different. A Wendigo is almost like a bipedal deer zombie in Native American folklore that represents greed, cannibalism, and bloodlust. Werewolves are werewolves. Never heard of a Lycan

Ah so a basic werewolf is wild when transformed and I assume only transform under a full moon, while a Lycan can transform at any point and remained in full control while in wolf state. Cool. Thanks man.
