[PS3] Weazel News Grand Prix
Social Club: Weazel News GP
This is a racing track in Little Seoul. I covered lamp posts and traffic lights with barriers, but there might still be some exposed ones since i can only use 50 props. The last section is a bit narrow, which is intended because the marina area gave the initial idea to drive in and out again. You might want to try this in non-contact races first. I would say supercars are a bit OP on this track because there are rather short straights but you should give it a try.
Lap times: ~ 1:10.000 in sports ~ 1:07.000 in supers players: 16 misc: repair pickups in pitlane (GTA)
Let me know what you think of it or what should be improved.

Enjoyed this, but in the spirit of constructive criticism, I do think the narrow section in the marina area is problematic. It's really narrow and it's tough not to hit anything without going pretty slowly. I guess the track may be built around this but I'm not sure about it. Thanks for sharing it.

I get your point on that. The thing is, I always want do build tracks with an outstanding feature. But at the end, that's most likely the thing that "ruins" the racing as well EDIT: Nevertheless, I thought the narrow section was "racable" since Broughy's Inner Loop also had a similar narrow section. I'll see how i can live with a non-marina-solution on this track. That would be like the last turn on your Korean GP. That would also take some good 10 secs from the lap time. Jeez, I need an extension somewhere

I think the best races are those that flow well and is vital for these kinds of GP style lap races. Why not copy it and remake it without that section and see how it feels. Anyway this is just 1 opinion and others might like it. Races are always gonna be similar to each other in some ways when there isn't a lot of choice of suitable roads in LS!

That was a lot of fun, thanks!!
Overall the track was easy to follow. I kept hitting the wall at checkpoint 14, the entrance to the high section, but I can't think of a way to improve it. You could remove the wall but I fear it would cause collisions with cars passing each other.
Thanks again!!

Thanks for playing. I learned that the best line for entering the marina driveway is to be left of the lampposts and then drive over the traffic island. Thus, you can take quite some speed into the narrow part. And if the impact angle isn't too bad, you can also do a wallride in best NFS manner. I took care that the barriers are all lined up nicely so you don't get stuck on one of them. Meanwhile, I looked over an alternate track solution without the marina parking. Imho, it somehow always takes away the "soul" of the track. I'll just leave it as an "piece of art" and be more senseful on future designs
