I generally struggle a lot with pearlescents, as they tend to look a lot different outside than in the garage. But this one I was actually proud of and I think I nailed it first try. Sunset Red with Salmon Pink pearl:
I've gone through a few distinct "phases" when painting my cars recently, each which had two sets of primary colours.
First was pretty standard - Torino Red or Blue with Ultra Blue pearl. Then I moved on to Orange with a yellow pearl or Schafter purple with an ultra blue pearl. Finally, and currently, I've been doing Sea Green with a Lime Green pearl or Cabernet Red with a Candy Red pearl.
I've changed from red to black. I really like the grace red color I used, but a fair amount of cars seem to force black or carbon parts upon you anyway so I said screw it, and went with black on my cars.
Oh the plus side black and chrome makes a great combination.
I'am all about shades of blue pairing them with some bright yellow, that looks cool for me. I painted my pariah blue and yellow, then i got a nero custom. I was looking for a new color and went with yellow and blue secondary, next day i realised that its just inverted pariah color, so yes i am stuck with that combo.
