The final race. My goal for this round was simple. Just enjoy yourself for this last race. No need to push, no need to be nervous, just drive. The scenery and setting were on point, with BITE color themed Grand Stands and the beautiful hills just made the experience even better. Sticky bombs go off and I get an ideal start something I didn't expect. Was nervous the first few laps, and it was only after my first pit stop that I began to relax. And what a way to end the season. I was so pleased to see my teammates and myself finishing so strong. Magnificent performance horstdemol ryanw88

Broughy1322 Thanks for organising and FriendlyBaron helping. It was fun for the most part and I had some decent battles with several drivers throughout the season. It was sad how the ended on PC, but what can you do, typical Rockstar. GG to the winners of the championships!!

This has been my best season of the MCEC and I enjoyed it very much. Thanks to my teammates MattyH1812 and SemiPro who did great in there gts with me holding dem 4ths XD. Thanks also to Dezign for reserving in the last race so our team could actually go for the teams champion win. Special thanks to equationunequal for organizing, beginning a fun rival for most of the season, and dealing with all our bs all the time . Thanks to Broughy1322 for created/organizing this event. It's been fun to go from watching these to actually being in them. I know that unless Rock* actually give us true open/muli-class xbox probably won't have another MCEC until maybe GTA 6 so I'm glad I was able to compete in this one. GG to everyone.

Of course it ends like this. The points will be as they are at the end of the season after penalties have been applied in the same way as throughout the season. It's impossible for it to be any other way. You make an exception for one race then other races/situations come into question and it all falls apart. I agree that over the course of things myself, Ymer and Mike have been very closely matched, but that's why we're so close at the top of the standings. Ultimately there has to be one winner. All three of us have had very good races, very bad races, made mistakes and taken penalties. The beauty of a championship is that usually at the end of a season those things average out and the better man is on top. I don't feel that's the case this season for GT2 on PS4. Had it not been for a malicious act in the closing stages of round 7 by someone completely unrelated to anything we're doing here, I would've won the championship and this conversation would have been moot. There are many races I could've done better to render it irrelevant anyway, but I didn't and the one thing I didn't want to happen did - me being DDoS'd cost me a championship. Something completely out of my control, in the final three laps of one of my better races despite my circumstances at that time, and it had an effect. This isn't like a DC or being penalised. This is where you've been singled out and targeted in order to ruin your experience. Trust me when I say you can't imagine how that feels, and when you lose a championship because of it, it compounds it even further. That's something I now have to deal with. So I apologise for any transgressions anyone may be feeling, but I can't offer too much sympathy given the above. We'll go through everything like we usually do and whatever happens is what happens. GG to everyone on PS4 for the great racing we saw throughout, and everyone in GT2 - I enjoyed our races. We could pretend that someone from the 'virtual crowd' threw something at your car and it fucked up the wheels or something. Not much better though is it.

Thanks for organizing and getting trough the all season Broughy1322 and FriendlyBaron. Something something emotional. Ranting about the state of the game, with all the stupid glitches, mainly brakeboosting. Something about founding a few things about myself. Being lazy to write a proper post. Have a goodbye POV from the last race:

Round 10 Follow-Up Championship StandingsPoints are now updated on the main spreadsheet ( bit.ly/MCEC4info) for all classes, teams and platforms. All Platforms - Broughy1322 - Issue: Hosted MCECDon't do this again. What on earth were you thinking? Final MessageAnd with that, season 4 of the MCEC is over. Firstly, thank you all for participating. Congratulations to the championship winners, and commiserations to those who were in the running but missed out at the end. Special mention to the GT2 battle on PS4 where all of the top 3 have reason to feel they deserve the championship after a tight season, and the team's championship on XB1 which was decided at the very end by a single point after 10 rounds! I want to say a huge thank you to AjAxel10, equationunequal, and FriendlyBaron for their help this season (not only with the main championship but secondary too). This wouldn't have been possible without them. Hosting a championship across 3 platforms is difficult enough as it is so all the help has been hugely appreciated. This was an interesting season. The first time with pit stops and larger gaps between rounds. A lot to take in and learn from. We've had ups and downs for sure, and the general interest in GTA waning towards the end of the season hasn't helped, but I hope those of you who've stuck around have enjoyed the racing. As always the MCEC has controversy as with everything else, and you can't make everyone happy, but I feel satisfied that we've stuck to the rules as much as we possibly can. Whether you're in agreement with those rules is one thing, but that's something that can be looked on for the future. Speaking of the future - I'm not going to say there will be a season 5. But I also won't say that there won't be. If it were to happen it would be at some point in 2018 and act as a send-off for the MCEC on GTA 5, and prioritise participants who have been in previous MCECs (primary & secondary) without dropping out, as well as new participants who are still involved in the crew. I already have some thoughts as to how it would go, learning from the mistakes and taking the best parts of not only season 4, but seasons 3, 2 and 1 as well. But nothing is guaranteed. We'll just have to see how 2018 goes. Thanks once again to everyone who participated. I hope you all enjoyed. As always I'll give a special mention to all drivers who managed to attend all 10 rounds at the end of the final video (whenever that ends up happening XD) - and well done everyone who started round 1 and remained until round 10 for making it through. As always, with every MCEC... It's been emotional. PS4 DriversXB1 DriversPC Drivers

Thanks for hosting another MCEC. Sorry for seemingly brushing my championship attempt this season under the carpet. Things irl got pretty shitty for me and I'm not going to go into what was happening, but it really ruined things for me and I'm sure for some of my competitors. In hindsight I should have dropped out after the third round where it was clearly evident I couldn't focus on gaming, but then hindsight is 20/20 for everyone. I only wish I could have given the final few rounds a better go of things, but starting uni and the various things I've been getting involved in put paid to that. Again I'd like to offer my apologies for the seeming lack of regard I had for the championship and its organisation - I really do wish things could have allowed me to at least put up a fight. But at the end of it, he who won deserved it as always. GG to ovivoJR on the title, and to @zenvohh for putting up a fight. And a GG to everyone who stayed until things were said and done, something I can;t say for myself. Well done guys.

Kinda ridiculous that one choke can affect all top 4 teams in the teams championship.
