Suggestion wise:
I think it would be best to go for exact spec setups.
We've pretty much confirmed now that bumpers, spoilers and even neons have an effect on car handling. By making the cars identical we can at least eliminate some of the variables.
Granted you will never be able to police suspension choices on some cars, but it would be nice to level the playing field as much as possible.

Broughy1322 Feel free to let me know if I can help you in some way. I'm sure I will be participating again in any kind of shenanigans if I get selected - and don't just join for the racing itself - so I wouldn't mind being involved in some organisational stuff as well. Edit: PS4, of course. I said this on the other thread as well but I'd like to help on the ps4 side.

No point in choosing preferred GT when we don't know the cars yet. Can we edit the form once those cars get announced? Your choosing based on skill level, not the cars. aah I see. Thanks. Luckily I picked the same of what I would have picked if I knew this beforehand.

I think it would be interesting for the drivers to get to tweak their own set ups to suit them. Different wheels and suspension can suit different drivers, it would add another aspect to the championship.

I think it's pretty lame that people take this attitude in GTA V. In other games that you can race in, customising your setup is actively encouraged and is a huge part of being a good racer. Why can't that be the case in GTA V?

Yeah I get that, but when the difference between a good setup and a bad one is measured in seconds I think it's time to draw the line. Finding a good setup takes a huge amount of time and luck, I'm sure I'm not the only one who isn't thrilled at the idea of having to spend most of a Saturday hotlapping and driving to LSC just to be competitive come raceday.

I could understand restricting wheel types for example, but forcing a single set of rims is overkill.
