People from PC side might be familiar with my ever recurring connection problems that seem to miraculously trigger only during events. What's weird for me is that they happen only when I'm playing GTA, and very rarely in freemode.
Due to my location, I'm unable to get any alternative for my ISP. Basically, even though my house is like 100m from a cable internet provider, they keep saying it's out of their reach and therefore I'm using a 4G modem dongle plugged in to my router. I kept thinking it was the placement of router that is at fault or something like that, so I bought a second modem and shoved it straight into my PC. Despite that, I dc'd from yesterday's event and am now pretty hopeless.
The issue is as follows: despite technically not disconnecting, it seems to lose WAN connection with the network. The only way to fix it is by forcing the modem to drop connection with the antenna and reconnecting. That however is pretty inconvenient.
Thought someone might now a possible cause of it, apart from it clearly being ISP's fault.

So you use wifi? Gotta try using no wifi at all next. Long Ethernet cable.

No, I use a cable. The thing is, I have no way of connecting my router to the cable internet, and I'm using mobile one (the 4G pole is like 150m from my house). I thought the fault is on router/modem overheating due to it being placed right behind my TV, so I bought a new modem dongle and plugged it straight into my PC.
I'm actually surprised both races today went fine without DCs (excluding dropping from freemode lobby but that wasn't caused by that particular issue)
