So I've now made my 3rd decent race, been getting good feedback from the crew and some randoms which is spurring me on. Please give it a try and I'd welcome any feedback, I've learnt a lot from other creators here and am keen to make the best races I can. I'll be hosting this regularly, feel free to come and beat me, which most will rsg.ms/12cf666Los Santos 24-7 CircuitDESCRIPTION In a city full of criminals, junkies, hookers and overworked office workers, the convenience store is king. To give something back (and heavily reduce their tax bill) 24-7 Supermarkets are hosting a road race around Vinewood. Whether you play a few quick laps or a 24hr endurance, this fast tricky circuit will keep you on your toes. Meet up in the parking lot outside 24-7 on Los Lagunas Ave and don't forget to stock up on overpriced sugary snacks and caffeinated beverages, your gonna need them.

I bookmarked it, though I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to test it.

I think I just raced you on this circuit. Layout seemed nice and interesting with some nice elevation changes.

We raced it a few hours ago, and I bookmarked your track, because it was so much fun! It is very smooth and flowing, and I need to rely on my cars' traction a bit more to take the turns at even higher speeds. Checkpoint, props and barriers are pLaced very well. You did a great job!
I will play it more for sure.

I've got to say, andyrenko, you've got a knack for track design. The front half of the track requires some serious discipline to navigate the turns and elevation changes without embarrassing one's self. On the back end, you'd better find a rhythm quickly because it flows smoothly and allows for some serious speed. My one concern is some of the prop placement at turns, though I understand the reason for their location. I made my first playlist last night, and that one is definitely on it.

Yeah, like The_Bad_Loser I really like the track design, but I'd like to make just a small comment about the prop placement on the inside of corners. I realise the importance of why they're there, but perhaps they could be rotated/moved slightly - at the minute you can't really take a late apex around most of the corners without hitting a barrier on the inside. As they are now, they force you to apex in a very traditional, middle of the corner way if that makes sense. A fairly small thing but every time I lined myself up for a corner I found myself second guessing whether I was on a collision course for a barrier, hope you take this into consideration.

Thanks reservoirdoc, The_Bad_Loser and lewjen (smithyonetwelve), I'm really glad you're all enjoying it. I take onboard your comments about prop placement and I'll have another look. I guess you know they're there to prevent posts going down but maybe I could reposition them. I'm really enjoying making tracks and have some more in the pipeline but probably won't be able to do any more til the new year as I'm without PS3 over the hols. I generally try and work with how the race flows and try and keep em pretty fast though i have to say they're pretty intense to race! I'm pretty slow and clumsy compared to many in this crew but maybe I've found my niche...!

Ok so I've now had chance to have another look. I've moved most of the barriers on the corners so they are as tight as possible, on close inspection some were a bit sloppy. Now you can definitely get a tighter apex. Also tweeked a few checkpoints. Thanks again all for your feedback, it's great to have some good quality control in this crew. Any other amendments please let me know. And thanks for putting it in your playlist The_Bad_Loser, when I'm back after the hols I'll give it a try...

I'll be sure to take another look at the track some time, it's too good not to have a blast around ever now and then.
