I added a poll in the OP to see if people want changes to enhance the realism. I left everything off to help speed things along and keep it simple, but we can change that if enough people want more realism.
I would love to drive out of/into the pits on my own. That's one of the things I really like about the game.
For the other stuff I think you can make a mix, have some races with/without damage, fuel, pitstops and so on.
And I really like that you can deactivate the option to setup your car. Where your driving only matters. Might be interesting and chilling to have that sometimes!
So I captured my stupid crash at Long Beach yesterday in the GT4 race. You can see by my wheel and pedals input display that my PC was still recognizing my wheel but Project Cars decided it didn't want to anymore. And the speedometer at the bottom right shows it just kept the throttle at 100%. So fucking dumb.
1st race i did with y'all, i spent 30min figuring the game and did a formula 3.5 race then joined the racing, got hooked imedietly, realy looking forward to get a wheel to get some more authentic racing, i can see how controller is as capable, but i dont think i can push to the same limits, or have the same level of control and feel for the cars

I was thinking GT3 cars on a randomly selected track. I can select 5 or 6 tracks and then use a random selector to choose one the day of.
I was thinking of a 30 minute session that will serve as practice time and qualifying. Then a 45 minute race.
One required pit stop.
Tyre wear and fuel usage will be on so you'll have to manage those. Manual pit stops will also be turned on.
We can discuss weather but I think it'd be best for one of our first long races to remain dry and during the day time. We can set time progression to high and let it go from dawn to dusk to make it a little interesting.
I love it, i will join for sure if nothing else will come up, i have few ideas i would just skip pratice session after some time it will start to geting boring just set quali for 15-20 min, about quali i would like to see a rule that u need to set ur lap time with that setup of the car you will start in the race and not put 1l off fuel and close everything soo your car can survive 2 laps for a hot lap, as a weather my vote its to set it to random.
Kaleeb42, this Friday for US/EU, Sat morning for me, I wouldn't mind piggybacking off your playlist with some sweet, sweet GT4 racing. SAGTC is on mid-season break, and I'm rapidly running out of time to get playing done.
Doing races at full Watkins Glen, Long Beach, and Monaco with an open lobby (so nubshits can join and get rekt by NoDo gods) and pre-set teams would be good fun esp if we make pits mandatory, manual, and don't tell the randoms, ex dee.
Thoughts?
