I listen to a lot of electronic music, mostly progressive house, electro house, complextro and just regular house but i've had worlds on replay for like the past year . I've been listening to a bit of trap recently but not too much. I occasionally listen to dubstep or drum and bass but I don't seek it out like i do with other genres and i can't stand big room house My favourite song is language by porter robinson closely followed by easy by the same person.

I feel like the rarest thing in a music fan these days would be someone who admits to only enjoying one genre I'm the 1%-only one genre -playlist of nothing but the most generic metalcore and post-hardcore ouch

Hard for me to pick just a genre or so, so here is a 25 spot list of my favorite albums ever 4. Fear of a Black Planet - Public Enemy (Gangster Rap) 6. Reign in Blood - Slayer (Thrash Metal) 8. Symbolic - Death (Death Metal) 9. Bathory - Bathory (Black Metal) 10. De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas - Mayhem (Black Metal) Ace of Spades - Motorhead Straight Outta Compton - N.W.A. A Blaze in the Northern Sky - Darkthrone I'm a fan of all of these. The rest of your list I've heard once or twice and I can get behind too with the exception of your #1 pick which I've never heard and that's because I'm not into Rush at all. Sorry.

As a Dutch nationalist I'm having an obsession with happy hardcore, and I wasn't even a teen in the nineteens

I love Public Enemy as well, Chuck D did a great job DJing on Playback FM in San Andreas.

I wouldn't really call Public Enemy gangster rap either. They're definitely political, they're definitely conscious, and they're definitely loud and confrontational but gangster? Not so sure about that. That movement was more of a west-coast thing when P.E. are east-coast, but more importantly they didn't really rap about gang activities or street violence.
