Kaleeb! No no no, not another signoff. I wanted to say that with backorder issues my wheel didn't arrive yet. So I'm at Youri's place doing the race, and we'll switch drivers position when the mandatory pitstop happens, okay?
Good race everyone. Managing to qualify in 2nd was really satisfying, also my actual race pace wasn't bad either. However my inability to be consistent was pathetic. I just need to relax and get on with it 😂

'Twas fun everyone. Thanks for joining. I'll probably host more one offs like this.
I'd like to host a formal championship but I don't think the interest is there. We'll see.
Thanks again for the good race.
Definite interest from me. Minimum of 10 I reckon. We were too spread out in that race. Maybe that's the difference in skill level though
I'd definitely like at least 10 consistent participants. So I'd think we need around 15 or so to sign up.
There's a definite skill gap from the top to bottom mainly due to difficulty in knowing the limits of the cars given your wheel, pedals, controller, force feedback, as well as knowing how to properly set up a car for it to go fast. Setup alone can net a drive several seconds a lap.
I know fuck all about proper set ups and I've tried to learn. It's pretty daunting to figure out how all the pieces fit together.
I may create a specific thread to gauge actual interest In a championship. The biggest issue is finding a time that is suitable for everyone. I'll tag a bunch of people.
This is probably the best way forward until we start getting a lot more players and higher skill levels. Maybe if we get enough we could branch it into two tiers, top tier gets to customise their setup, lower tier sits with stock?

And to mention ESL gaming also uses force default setup for both the Go4 cup and leagues. Don't know much about setting up either, but there might be some people who love it and don't want to miss out on that part though.
