A new event idea that I want to try out. If this ends up working, I'll do a championship featuring multiple classes and manufacturers.
The vehicles people choose are kept a secret until the race starts. Participants send me their car choice via PM.
It can happen that one car is only used by one person; this person will recieve the same points as a person that finishes 1st with other drives in the same car.
You shouldn't tell other drivers what car you are going to choose. If you keep quiet (and nobody can guess your vehicle choice to try to fight in the same car), you may end up alone in your GT and drive home an easy 1st place finish!
A list of all vehicles from this events' manufacturer can be found here.
In this post, the terminology "GT" is always referring to the people who choose the same car.

Vehicles:
The only vehicles allowed in this event are the supercars from the manufacturer Pegassi, link to a list of Pegassi vehicles.
Vehicle modifications:
Every modification is allowed. No restrictions on anything.
New info: There is a limit of 8 racers maximum per car. After signing up in this thread, please send me a private message on the forums about the car you are going to choose. I will sort people into a spreadsheet based on the timestamps of the private messages. If you end up choosing a car which is already taken 8 times, I will let you know in your PM.

Starting procedure:
I will make a randomized List of SignupsTM when the event is full or if the race starts in 24 hours, depending on what will happen first.
In the actual race, people will be sorted into their chosen GT's and then sorted according to the List of Signups.
The GT's will be placed in order of speed according to Broughy1322's spreadsheet. The GT with the fastest laptime will start at the front, the slowest at the back.
Participants will end up sorted based on the chosen GT, but still randomized by the List of Signups.
The race will be started with the explosion of sticky bombs. For each GT there will be a seperate sticky bomb explosion about 10 seconds after the previous GT started.

Pitting procedure:
You have to take two pitstops.
I'll try to aquire a pitwatcher who would be responsible for noting down the pitstops of the participants. If this fails, you will have to call out your pits (either via Teamspeak or via the in-game chat).
A pitstop is defined as a stop-and-respawn (stunt race).
Be careful while re-entering the track!
A pitstop on the first or last lap will not count towards the mandatory pitstops.

Teams' championship:
Finishing position | Points |
1st | 16 |
2nd | 12 |
3rd | 9 |
4th | 6 |
5th | 4 |
6th | 2 |
7th | 1 |
8th | 0 |
These points apply to each GT simultaneously, the first driver in each GT will recieve the full 16 points.
If you disconnect during the race, you will still "finish" based on how much distance you completed. The first person in a GT who disconnects will finish last in that GT, the second will finish second-last etc.
This applies to each GT simultaneously as well.
The team with the most points will win the Teams' championship.
Participants:
You have to be able to understand spoken English (not only written English) to be able to join this event. If I see that you brought a translator into the teamspeak, you get disqualified immediately. It's too much of a hassle.
Participants need to be a member of Nonchalant Dominance and must meet event eligibility requirements to sign up.
Standard NoDo Racing Rules apply, including no weaving on straights and blue flags for your own GT.
Example: if you drive an Osiris and get lapped by a Tempesta, you do not have to give room (and dont expect room when you lap someone in a Tempesta). If you get lapped by an Osiris you have to give space (and you can expect space if you lap an Osiris).
In order to not have an unfair advantage during the race, you have to cap your game at 60 fps. You can either enable the in-game VSync (if your monitors' maximum refresh rate is 60Hz), or run an external program like RivaTuner.
Be on the Nonchalant Dominance Teamspeak server so that you can hear information of the event host before and during the event.
You will drive in teams of two, for a team of approved pit-lane quality.
This event can also be used to get a pending pit-lane team approved.
Sadly I have to limit the maximum amount of participants to 22 drivers; with more people there is a bug which causes the game to crash for 50+% of people when attempting to start a stunt race.
