Well I prefer contact racing, because I love to battle with people, because when I'm far in front I'll wait for some others (depending what kind of players that are) to get a battle with them, I should not see any reason to wait for someone in non contact and with lots of players I can't find my own car in between so many cars at the same location. One thing you said I don't agree with, maybe for a laugh but you say non contact guarantees no accidents and that's not true. Maybe I'm more talking about older tracks, but when you go with 10 people around a corner on some old tracks at least one will crash because of another car hitted a lamppost. Also another weird issue you get in non contact races is that sometimes some cars change to contact and then you need to notice that.

Contact on is more fun, but I like NC too sometimes.
Doing NC can be just as exciting as a race with contact on. Rally can be very exciting without any overtaking.
But by default, I'd prefer contact on.

It happens sometimes with some players, I think it mostly happens when racing in a big lobby.

I like both personally. Prefer contact racing though with the right group of people.

He is saying that when someone leaves, it glitches out the non contact sometimes, so some of the people still in the race are able to hit you. It is frequently caused by someone leaving during the race

If contact happens during a non contact race you can just respawn and it will turn back to normal.

I personally really enjoy non-contact on stunt races because it eliminates any problems like getting knocked in mid air, however for competitive land races contact is best because defending and overtaking is a very particular skill, so being able to pull it off in a race truly shows the best racer

"Pure racing" in a game with wiggle boosts, curb boosts, brake boosting, "short" shifting and mid-drive speed boosts?

Can't Rockstar adjust the game physics so hitting a curb does nothing, or probably more realistically slows you down? I do not understand Rockstars logic of "going over bumps makes you go faster"

My opinion Non contact helps a lot when theres trolls via public races, if its with friends I keep it standard.

I agree with xiNastyAngel. I love contact racing with friends because we actually do not wreck each other, but non contact is almost essential with random ppl.

Non contact is great on some tracks, mostly rally style tracks are good for non contact. Contact on is a whole new beast! I spent most of my racing time with non contact and now always contact and you really need to re train yourself haha
