I got all that I needed from our fearless scumbag leader PS: I haven't cringed in a long time. Watching Verstappen try to overtake Vettel made me weep. Another PS: Wtf? This isn't rain conditions, Max. That outside overtake wouldn't work at all

If you ever feel stupid, just remember that there are people who genuinely think that Verstappen is better than Ricciardo

Talent wise? He's better than anyone on that grid. Perspective, maturity etc wise? He's got a long way to go; but just think, half way up his talent curve he'll sail past the best Kimi was ever capable of. But right now it's all about my man, Danny fuckin' Ricciardo!

Strange race, up until the pitstops the race was super dull with the top drivers all at least a couple of seconds apart, then a race broke out (with the safety car helping a lot).
Also to join on the bandwagon Verstappen needs to learn from his teammate how to overtake and make less mistakes. He has had at least 5 incidents now in qualifying and races.

Yeah and one day he will get tehre. But we shouldn't pretend he's not the next Senna. Lmao yea. We don’t need to pretend, we already know he isn’t ok so here's there thing; I'm old enough to have watched Ayrton Senna race on TV. His first title came when I was 9, and a Mansell/Williams fan. Everyone fucking hated Senna. Nobody denied his talent, but he was a completely ruthless cunt who had no qualms putting himself and another driver into danger for psychological intimination. If you backed off, he had you. If not, you crashed and you knew he would wreck both races to establish dominance. Nowadays, his racecraft and pure, natural talent mean we lionise him and make great-but-flawed documentaries about him that make Prost look like the villain from a cartoon. Max Verstappen is exactly the same in most respects. Of course, the difference is, he is reckless and can't get moves done that Danny Ric can. In fact, Danny Ric is being described as the best overtaker in Formula 1 after China (Nico Rosberg on Sky, Jolyon Palmer on BBC) because he has absolutely ballsy moves but they stick and he never, ever crashes. But here are the people whose opinions are based on experience, and who think Max Verstappen has Senna-esque qualities: Gerhard Berger - raced at McLaren in 1991 and 1992, where his teammate was some guy called Ayrton Senna de Silva David Coulthard - Williams reserve/test driver when Senna was at the team in 1994 Eddie Jordan - a wig-wearing numptie, he nonetheless owned Jordan GP at the time Senna was around Toto Wolff - Team Principal, Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team You can find scores of journalists who agree; their qualifications in most cases are that they actually watched Senna race, and didn't just watch the Senna documentary. Even Toto, whose involvement in F1 only started a few years back when he was a Williams shareholder and executive director, was watching when Senna raced. The other three were active in F1 when Senna raced, and they all see it. Sometimes you have to admit the other guys is better than your hero, and not become the meme itself.

...make Prost look like the villain from a cartoon... To be fair, that's not far off from the truth. I bet a few of the guys in the Ferrari administration could tell you a thing or two about Prost. I believe he managed to get on the wrong side of the entire team at one point. In fact - did he not get fired off the Ferrari team for being a general ass? Sidenote - I too was glued to the screen during the mid 80's. Comparing racecraft and general attitude towards your fellow drivers to todays F1 world, is quite litterally impossible. It was a different game back then. I will never forget Sennas last race though...

Well timed safety car for Red Bull. And damn it felt good to see Kimi on podium after all happenings. Agreed! It was a well timed safety car for Kimi as well, concidering it looked like he sacrificed his race there at one point to get Seb up the field.
