G.L.E.N Covered this some time late last year and I noticed it around the same time aswell. It is most definitely a bug and R* being R* will never fix it. A solution I now do is cut out snapping and try and build custom sections around the rotational and positional axis of a previous prop. It takes longer but I have noticed that my custom sections have became smoother since.

I'm pretty sure this became an issue with doomsday, which is a fitting name looking not only at this bug but also the stunt race crashes. Hope they fix this with the next update since they couldn't be fucked to patch it.

It takes longer but I have noticed that my custom sections have became smoother since. yes, that one killed me. i since made only one single track with very complexe prop combinaison but the whole area was parallel to the map 0,90,180 or 270° Z rotations. i now stopped playing the game and only start it to host creator based playlists.
