As mentioned before, the curb boosting is broken for most of the cars in the update, but most importantly the nascar (because that is what it is) also suffers a lot from it. On the new vespucci, I tested the tubes as well, and riding on the walls - which made you go a lot faster in other cars because of the constant curb boosting effect - does nothing and I went at exactly the same speed as going in the bottom of the tube. That being said, the viseris got its immense top speed because of curb-boosting via suspension glitch, so what they did was add an effect that reduced its curbboosting effect from 1 to 0 (I'll will use these numbers for easier understanding) and then for some reason they applied this to the new cars but not the old ones, causing their curb boosting to go from 0 to -1, thus broken. (These are mostly speculations, but they all have reasoning behind it, so I dare say it has something behind it.) Maybe I read this wrong, but watch my video. My Nascar did not suffer from curb boosting. Actually I gained so much speed from curb boosting that I kept ahead of other players using the same cars, with catch upon. That race was recorded today. So how exactly is the cars suffering from curb boosting? (I'm on PS4 btw)

I'm on PC (laptop) but for me it felt like, when I went over unever surface or curbs (so whenever the suspension was used) The car's engine sound disappeared and it felt like I let go of the pedal. In the tubes, the car went at the exact same pace on the sides as the bottom too, based on my observations at least. Then again, I might be wrong, wheels might have to do something with it too, or suspension itself.

On my end, the Hotring Sabre does get a speed boost from curb boosting over small bumps like over the side rubbers of the stunt road props, but not from the tubes' sides.
This is really odd.
EDIT: on a side note, the Jester Classic being in Sports classics while the Sentinel Classic is in Sports triggers me greatly. Their class allocation makes even less sense than it did before. Soon we'll have cars like the Z-type in SUVs and the X80 in Off-road.
EDIT²: the lack of liveries or sponsor stickers on the Jester Classic triggers me even more. With all the legendary MkIV Supras we've seen, from various workshops across the globe, they couldn't be arsed to do one for the Jester Classic. I'm so disappointed.

I hope the performance will be better than their choice of classes in which car goes in what class lol

I definitely would have expected something like that too. I wanted some sort of Midnight club update with a number of street racing style and no more stunts but you know, rockstar has different priorities...
Why cant they just do a Need for Speed Underground type of DLC?

Because I'm a broke boy, I have the fortune of not being able to waste money on the Taipan and the Entity XXR. From what I have driven, the GB200 is a gem offroad, although it is very twitchy.

The update seemed good at first, but I'm not too keen on the supercars. Firstly, the Taipan just feels really sluggish, even after being fully upgraded. As for the Entity XXR, how is it slower than the original Entity? They really screwed up here, although I am glad that they didn't break the Supers class by having them be too overpowered, but they do need a bit of a buff.

The new Cheburek has an 'Adidas' livery, and can be customised with a cardboard bodykit and hood / roof scoops, plus a spoiler. I'm not kidding.

Yea I noticed the same, the race I presented I'm pretty sure is one of the basic ovals and I was boosting off the stunt track sides. As for tubes I agree the car doesn't seem to gain speed there. Also the car classes has been worse, don't forget that we have a van in the muscle car class, one of the most utterly stupid decisions Rockstar's ever made.

Basically the same stuff I posted before, but with examples and lap times to back it up.

Okay then so when I said curbboosting doesn't work for the Hotring, I was right with the tubes, but I didn't think that it would differ for normal kurbs, so I accept that I was wrong there... Also, I have a feeling that we WILL get a nfs style update in the future, since R* has released some "template" cars, which would work wonders with Benny's. They know it's ignored, they know it would work with a street racer update, all they need to do is add stuff like Jester classic custom, Comet widebody, Elegy custom, a new car for the Mazda RX-7, a Honda NSX (old one) and so on, there are lot's of such iconic cars, which could be implemented. Remember how the Itali GTB had quite a bit of customization stock form too, and even more in Benny's? The Jester Classic looks the same to me in this aspect. This is all speculation however, but I am pretty sure they plan more for that car. Also, there were speculations on a naval DLC, well, they could make it a naval import export, like there was in San Andreas, where you had to deliver cars to the dock for export. This way, they could satisfy those who ask for military naval stuff, and also the downtown racers. (what do you guys think about this? I think this could work if they implement it well)

What annoys me the most is that bouncy suspension part. I can live with cars being expensive as hell and not being competitive, it's not the first time this would be happening (hello Lynx), but I at least expect them to be driveable and stable. With that thing, every bump makes them bounce in an unpredictable direction, making it challenging and difficult to handle them properly (and not in the good way).

Has anyone tried mid-driving the Viseris now? It just sits there, with the trigger held down fully it's like you're quarter throttling, barely moving, it's really weird. No other car behaves like this under the mid-drive as far as I know, and they all behave as before. Could this be to do with the rev limiting "fix"?

All cars with bit 16(?), that adam10603 is decoding, cannot mid drive. This is how they fixed the car from going sonic speeds.
