Is getting the x80 proto worth buying only for it's AWD if you already own the vagner? Assuming catchup is off, ofcourse.

id recommend getting the nero custom actually. its AWD, has really good topspeed too so its competetive on most stunt tracks, and weighs about 3 times as much as the vagner or the x80, so if you get in collisions you'll always come out ahead. its always been my car of choice for Stunt races

Worth grinding for it? Since I mostly play stunt races in non-contact lobbies, collisions aren't much of a factor

Since I mostly play stunt races in non-contact lobbies, collisions aren't much of a factor the vagner will be competetive for sure, its probably the fastest on a few tracks and not far off the top pace on most. if you dont feel like grinding for the x80 or the nero custom, the vagner will be fine. i guess itd be perfect to have all 3 so you can always pick whats best on the specific track

I’ve played a lot of R* stunt races now, and the answer depends on how confident you feel. Personally I really like the Vagner for handling and feel a lot more confident with it. Tracks that are a bit more twisty (e.g. Vespucci) need a Vagner to be quick (2.13 compared to a 2.16 in my x80 are best times). X80 is ridiculously good in tubes, so tracks with a lot of these you’ll need an x80 (e.g. Green Machine (2.35 in my x80, 2.38 at a stretch in my Vagner). However on these tracks that are strong for the x80, you need to feel confident with the steering, as it isn’t as direct as the Vagner, and could just cause you more issues.
Nero Custom is a good alrounder, but that’s the issue with it, not really a specialist on any track. If funds are an issue, save 500k and get a Vagner rather than a Nero Custom.
Having said that, they are usually public lobbies so you could probably win in a Cyclone!

Cyclone just seems like a waste of money tbh with that ridiculous top speed and turning. Will think about it still. Thank you!

Cyclone was just a joke! It’s fun but not for stunt races!

Nero Custom > X80 for stunts imo. X80 is incredibly twitchy for me so Nero Custom is more preferred choice.

In my experience, I can agree with the others here. Nero custom is a car i can push to its limits more, but the X80 is very twitchy and you have to have perfect lines and have to know the car well to be really fast in it. That being said i have neither but have used them in stunt races and find the Nero a lot easier to control so, your choice. Play around with both see what happens

If you are low on Budget, get the Nero, and don't spend money to turn it into the Custom variat. The difference between the 2 cars are almost non-existent. Also if you prefer clean looking cars, the Nero is better in that as well .

x80 is must have for stunt races, and vagner is must have for vespucci. This is true, but painful. I hate the X80 but own it for the stunt races. Although racing randoms, you'll find slip and catch-up to be a sure thing and it won't matter anyway. You'll need a heavy stable car to withstand the morons going for the old side-kiss, not the highest top speed in the game.

On the rare occasion that it's a non-contact stunt race, i get outpaced by skilled drivers in X80 protos in my Vagner on traditional R* stunt tracks except Vespucci. Otherwise it's a slipstream-fest with catchup on top, and i get rammed to oblivion. So it makes sense to me that the Nero Custom (which is even heavier than the Nero i think?) would be the correct-est choice for any R* contact stunt race with randoms. And the X80 for non-contact. I'm just not a big fan of the X80 or the Vagner.
I only own the Vagner so i'm mostly just speculating though.

I'd recommend the XA-21. Stunt racing involves a lot of curb boosting and stunt tubes, the XA-21 gains a LOT of speed from these. It has a automatic spoiler like the T20 so that'll save you a good 20k in spoiler upgrades, and it's AWD.
I've raced the stunt race Wall Climb with X80's and Nero's, and the other day I set new best lap times, twice, racing the XA-21.
Seriously that thing floats in stunt tracks. I seriously recommend giving the XA-21 a try.
Here is the race. I think catchup was off in this so it shows just how quick this thing is. On third lap I had time to crash and still beat everybody by 20+ seconds. Once this thing hits a curb or hits a tube, forget about it, this thing is gone then.
