This event will mainly serve to gauge the active FM7 player base across Xbox One and PC. Due to FM7 being cross-platform compatible NoDo members from either platform will be able to race together in the same event. Should this event garner significant turnout, I'll be using a tweaked format to host an event in the near future across multiple rounds.
Date/Time: 02/06/18 @ 20:00UTC
Car: 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition
Circuit: Mugello Full Circuit
Conditions: Mixed
Quickstops: 1 per race
Length: 2x 25mins apprx.
So in this event we'll be using the 2012 R35 GT-R over two 25 minute races. In order to allow for competitive diversity in upgrade and tuning setups cars must meet a set of homologation requirements set-out below. Hopefully these won't feel too restrictive and will serve to allow for multiple viable setups when building a car for the event.
Homologation Requirements:
Drivetrain swaps are allowed however Engine swaps are not.
Custom/Storefront Liveries are OK as well as basic single colour paint jobs. The only requirement is that liveries cannot be obscene or 'offensive' as some participants may want to stream or record the event.
Difficulty/Assists:
As far as assists go, I'm happy to let everyone use what they're most comfortable with. Lines, Traction & Stability, Shifting and Steering are all up to the individual. Fuel and Tires will be forced on however, and everyone will need to make at least one stop per race.
The grid will be randomised for race 1, and then reversed for race 2.
Standard NoDo racing rules apply and you'll need to make sure you're eligible to participate to sign up.
