Yes it seems since this discussion started, people tend to use "the GP word" less often (and so do I).

I'm using that word spelled out, but only because it's modeled after a circuit that's actually called __________ Grand Prix

I find that adding 'GP' at the end makes the name sound more professional or complete. Just me though.

So Broughy1322's lsgp engurance track is a GP but the original should be called: The Lost Santos Street Circuit. Well, if you look at I believe it's the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit it's also semantically correct to call it a Grand Prix Circuit as long as you include the circuit part, so it could be Los Santos GP Circuit for example Which would signify that the original circuit design is created for a Grand Prix event. actually the gp in Melbourne is held on the Albert Park Street Circuit.

The F1 track in Melbourne has so many different names it's not funny. It is mostly a street circuit with a small section being closed off. Interestingly, and like a surprisingly large amount of Australian race tracks, that circuit was created for the purpose of racing, but isn't a full-time racing circuit, only being used in March for the Australian Grand Prix, and therefore calling it Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit is perfectly fine. I attempted to create a version of it on 360 if anyone's interested. Vinewood GP Circuit

I started to use songtitles for tracktitles and try to make it suit the track.

I prefer to add 'Circuit' to the end of my tracks with 'GP' going to the end of tracks I find either special, large or just in recent days, for ridiculousness

I named my new track "Circuito de LSIA" , which when translated from Spanish to English correctly (meaning by actual Spanish people rather than google) it means circuit of LSIA. I named it this because my tracks in the airport and I made it like a real racing circuit with 17 turns and kerbs and runoff so the name fits, same as Circuito de Jerez or Circuito de Albacete or circuito de Catalunya and so on. Unfortunately I think most of the crew members don't know this and it attracts very little attention, probably because they think it's a Spanish race.
