Yes, all races will be on the same day in one playlist : ) Okay, I would like to participate then, but would you mind answering a question? I'm new. How does car sharing work? Does it allow people who don't own the car to use the custom version in races? Do I need to set it up with someone?

It will be hard to say what setup you will like the best, but there will be plenty of cars to choose from, as long as the other participants dont mind sharing their car. But, if you want you can send me the setups you like and I can customize my cars that way so you will have them.

No, no, I'm fine with whatever visuals I get if someone is already kind enough to share their car with me, what I'm more concerned about is if I will be level when it comes to performance. I don't own most of the cars from the list. My question was if I need to find someone beforehand that would be willing to share their cars with me or will this be sorted out at the beginnings of the races?

There is no need to ask beforehand, you just go up to anyone's car in the beginning when we are all still lining up on the grid, pull them out of their car, and get in : ) and hopefully that person will be ok with it, which I feel most people will be.

One more question, how can I cap my FPS so that it doesn't go above 60?

One more question, how can I cap my FPS so that it doesn't go above 60? There are 3 ways I've used, though one of them has given people mixed impressions.
The most common is to use vsync through drivers. As the vsync will try to match the monitor's refresh rate it has to be set to 60Hz to achieve what we want. If you can change the refresh rate in the game's graphics options it should do the trick. I cant speak for how well it works on AMD cards, but on the NVIDIA control panel you can use either regular vsync or "adaptive". Personally adaptive has given me good results. Do not use "fast sync" though as it will not limit the game, defeating the purpose of what we're doing here. Fast sync only limits the output but not the game it's applied to, and for this we need to limit the game.
Second popular option is Dxtory. It lets you set the framerate to whatever you want on the application selected and can be toggled on or off whenever you want. This is good if you only want a temporary change during events and easily switch it off later without needing to restart the game. You select the game at the top of the window and then lock the framerate in the graphics/video tab (icon looks like a green circuit board). The fps lock is near the bottom when on the correct tab.
And the least popular option (and I can already hear people screaming at me from a mile away) is to use in-game vsync. I has always worked well for me but a lot of people say it causes issues for them. That is why I'm mentioning this last, despite being the easiest solution. If this works for you, great! If not you have been warned. Same thing as with the first option make sure the refresh rate is set to 60Hz.

Sign me up. One question though, how important is it to have the cars in correct colors and visual mods?
