What do you think are the best garages and how do you go about sorting them out? Or do you just put randoms cars in garages with no order?

I've got all my garages mainly in east los santos close to the los santos customs. I've also got two down by the airport. I've got the apartment just south of maze bank tower. And then I've got my CEO office located at maze bank tower. Lots of people use the ones up north in los santos, but I never did. All mine are 10 cars and then I've got he max you can have in my CEO offices. I try to keep them separate and organized..I keep off road vehicles together and motorcycles have their own. I've got one dedicated to vehicles I use in races. Muscle has their own for most part. Other than that I try to keep them together by maker..progen, Pegassi etc. I've moved them around many times over the years though so it's just how you're feeling at the time lol

I have an unnatural urge to put things in order, so I like this question.
1. All my favourite cars that I normally use are in the same garage - my office garage. 2. For my racing collection I treat them more like a company would treat stock. I simply put them all in a racing garage (in size order 'biggest at the back and smallest at the front') and paint them all cream and basically never touch them otherwise. The ones I race and also like driving are in the office garage, like the Vagner and Turismo classic as an example.
As for my office garage it is laid out as follows: On the top floor I have my bikes. On the middle floor I have my Benny's vehicles and on the bottom I have a collection of my Turismo and Cheetah classic, Vagner, Visione, Tempesta and Dubsta 6x6. They look good sitting together. Some nice classics, supers and the funnest off-roader to drive (and drift in the snow).
I have a Deluxo also, stored in my MOC, and like 3 bikes in my clubhouse.
I realise that I have a small car collection in terms of what people normally have, but I am sure that there must be more people out there like me who don't need a lot of cars in GTA Online? What is the point frankly. How often would you even drive them?
But yeah.

Dont much care about Location as I rarely ever drive to the garage, I just make sure to max out storage, so I have all three Office Garages, 5 10 car Garages, the MC Club for bikes...
I store my cars according to class. So 10 car Garage for Off Roads If i remember right, sedans and Coupes got a garage, compacts vans and suvs get another. Got two full 10 slots for Sports Cars, plus a couple more spilled over into the doomsday bunker. My Muscles, Sports Classics, and Supers all have an Office Garage each, currently got a few spots left in each, but they are close to full...
Time is going to come i'll struggle to order them because of the difficulty of grouping by 10s.

I order my cars alphabetically. Every time a new update comes out I cry at this ridiculous decision, as I now have to fit new cars into garages and basically move everything around. My OCD knows no bounds.
In another universe, I’d be curious to organise garages by colour (I enjoy having hideously colourful cars). When you enter a garage and see a rainbow pattern in each garage, that would be incredibly satisfying, although not sure where Chrome would come in there...

I organize them according to class inside my CEO garages: 1A -> Supers 1B -> Sports 1C -> Muscle 2A -> Coupes 2B -> Sports classic 2C -> Offroads 3A, 3B & 3C -> Everything else
I store all motorcycles inside the MC clubhouse and I use a 10 car garage at LSIA for cars I bought specifically for events.

I organize cars by class but I'm not always relying on the in-game class as it's becoming more and more inconsistent. And I also can't prevent myself to care about the properties location as I like them like my businesses: spread around the map (I like the idea of having a safe house rather close to me wherever I am) and depending on the location, I restrict the kind of cars to be stored (ie. no off-road in the city). Did someone say OCD ?- Arcadius Office
- 1A CEO/VIP
- 2A Defense/Getaway
- 3A Weaponized/Iconic
- 2A/2B Supercars
- 2C Supercars classic
- 3A Sports classic
- 3B Muscles
- 3C Lowriders
[/ul] - Zancudo Facility Military
- Vespucci Clubhouse Bikes/Gang
- Eclipse Penthouse 3 Branded racing
- 101 Weazel Plaza Sports
- 2045 North Conker Luxury
- Unit 2 Popular St. Street Tuning
- 4401 Procopio Dr. Vacation
- 870 Road 68 Off-road
The problem is that every new DLC may potentially break all this organization ... as long we don't have additional storage slots somehow.

I use the CEO office for spawning so all of the vehicles I reach for the most are at the office garage.
Weaponised vehicles ar the facility, bikes are at the Motorcycle Club (unless I use them often like the Bati, Hakuchou and Hakuchou Drag-these are at the office) and any other car that won't fit into these categories I just store at the apartment/houses I have around the map. I rarely visit or use those though.
Given all the parking space in the high-end apartments, offices and houses I have not bought any extra garages. Yet.
In the past I used to store them by type and/or color (I abused the black/red combo back in the day) but I don't anymore.

Often, black, white, grey and chrome normally sit well together, but I rarely had anything in chrome. Looks good on choppers though (as in bikes).

I think i'll put my weaponised vehicles in the facility. that sounds good. That being said, I only have an oppressor. but I suppose the Deluxo CAN be weaponised and I have that Pegasus Insurgent which can be made a custom. 3 is probably all you need?

I think it would have been more correct to say weaponised/armored cars, as my armored Kuruma sits there too. Been planning on getting the Oppressor for a while, but now I'm not sure if I should go for the jetpack instead.

Been planning on getting the Oppressor for a while, but now I'm not sure if I should go for the jetpack instead. As someone who exclusively used the oppressor as a means of transport for quite some time I can confirm that it can be really fun, and really useful as well. I would recommend it, though ONLY if it was on sale. A legitimate and fast way for getting about, and can be good for defence with rockets. But I don't have knowledge of the jetpack except for races, which never sold me on it. But for the oppressor, if you don't have it, I am not convinced that it is a 'need to buy' item, i tink wait for it to become cheaper.

Ive just bought the stilted apartment on hillcrest that costs 525,000 and while it looks nice and is different than what most people would get, the tight curvy roads to get there kind of suck. Location isnt bad being between the city and my MC though.

In my garage i have 5 sectors, 1st sector is with supercars ONLY, the 2nd one is with motorcycles and small cars and the 3rd is with muscles, armored vehicles and all that stuff. But there is no more space left in my office garage so I'm keeping my other vehicles spreaded around the city in my apartments.

Location isnt bad being between the city and my MC though. Yeah, I agree. I had one of those houses on the hills and I ended up selling it after a couple of months because of how annoying it gets to drive up there. Also, I wasn't a huge fan of the interior so I eventually got sick of it.
