Hi Folks, Am in 2 minds whether i should learn how to effectively brake boost or not... I can do it if its obvious but have trouble hitting the boosts consistantly like the fast boi's do.. I would say am of reasonable pace but to win events it seems to come down a lot of the time to consistancy, whether brake boosts or not, So what do others think? Tia Alex

I never use brakeboosting and Im still able to win races in NoDo. (not to brag about it) In my opinion brakeboosting is really just for hotlapping and going for World-Records, if youre into that; sure, learn it. If youre just a normal racer and want to aim for consistancy and winning races; dont. It only gives you a little bit of extra time and if you mess it up it can slow you down a LOT.

Brakeboosting is stupid but it’s useful in hotlapping etc

You‘ll always be faster if you are reasonably good at brake boosting
