Hey all, just wanted to share one of my tracks.
It's called the
Blue Collar Circuit as it's set in the working class area of Cypress Flats.
Please add it to your game, run a few laps & let me know what you think.
I've protected most of the corners from cutting & pole knockdowns, but there are still a few places you can curb boost etc.
Typical of most real life street circuits, there are a few 90 degree turns, but each one has its own characteristics.
Some are blind, some turn into double apex corners, some are taken flat out while others are definitely not.
There are a few bumps & crests that need to be factored in as well. There may be a bump on your preferred racing line that could pitch your car sideways. So, do you attack & hope for the best or take a wider line to avoid the bump?
Here's a demo lap in a Messacro Race Car.
It's just a good, steady race lap, not a hot lap. You could easily get the time down by another 2-3 seconds.
The chicane at the end of the lap has been affectionately named the Butt Clencher because you'll probably feel your sphincter muscle contract a bit as you take it flat out at high speed.
There is a bump in the middle of the Butt Clencher, so you only get one shot at choosing your line & turn in point.
My daughter does some testing for me. It's good to have some fresh eyes while testing a track. It's like having my own, personal Pedro de la Rosa.
Just for fun, here's a video of my daughter & I having some "moments" at the Butt Clencher.
