Here's a demonstration lap. I advise doing at the very least a few laps of practice yourself, to avoid causing issues on race day.
I've had the idea of doing a 2.4 Hour event in my mind for about a year, but never had the time or the drive to set it up and do an event properly, so it went to the back of my mind. Evo's event of a similar concept proved to be popular, bringing this back to the front of my ideas list for events, so i decided to finally organize and run it.

Pre-lobby Open/Car inspection: ~5:10 pm UTC
Race-Lobby: 6:00 pm UTC
Race-Start: 6:10 pm UTC

Pre-Lobby:
Make sure to add OG_Space_Ghost as a friend on social club to get invites to the lobby.
Meetup location: The meetup location will be wherever i am on the map in the pre-lobby, 99% chance of it being the top level of a parking garage. If you bring police to the meetup/inspection, expect me to read you the riot act over voice, or punt you to the back of the grid. Control yourselves.
Car inspection: Once everybody is at the meetup location, please park your car in one spot and don't move it, so i can go through all of them to confirm armor level and tire choices.

Car Sharing, Gridding and Start Procedure:
Sharing/Spawning: Past events and playlists have shown a decent amount of instability in GTAs, and individual users' connections to race lobbies, which can severely compromise several peoples race, even with just 1 disconnection able to take out multiple people.
If you or your teammate do not own the car, tag/message me either here or tag An_innocuous_barrel#2769 in discord and i will save and spawn a car for you with your team color and preferred setup
Gridding: The starting grid will be randomly generated around 24 hours before the event. People who sign up after this period (or cause too much turbulence in any buildup) will be placed at the end of the grid in order of joining.
Race Start: One everybody is lined up on the grid and ready to go, a script (courtesy of FriendlyBaron) will be ran, indicating imminent race start, and then an unknown number of seconds later, will detonate sticky bombs, starting the race.

Pit stops and Respawning:
Pitstop Details: In order to make pit stops more worthwhile than a simple drive-through, there will be 3 required pit stops throughout the course of the race. With current weather, 0% armor, and the easy crumpling of the OG Entity in effect, it would not be wise to stack all your pit stops just to get them over with, as you may be burned later on.
If you have completed all of your required pit stops, additional drive-through's are allowed in order to fix damage.
Procedure: Similar to TEPCOTT, stop in the pit lane in clear sight of the pit watcher, after 5 seconds, they will shoot your car, allowing you to proceed and leave the pits.
Respawning: In the extremely unlikely event that you are flung off the track and are unable to return, respawning will be permitted. Many of the green and yellow walls surrounding the track have ramps on the opposite side, allowing return to the track without re-spawning

Signups will be up to 28 racers, in teams of 2, using a Pit Lane verified team, exceptions might be made if issues arise. I'd also prefer that teammates actually had their cars matching
