Am I the only one who doesn't like real-life motorsport? I think you might be one of the very few (if any) here that doesn't like IRL motorsports. I can definitely understand how you can feel like that after having NASCAR shoved down your throat, I don't see any skill to it either. I'm originally born and raised in Hawaii, but have lived in SoCal (Rowland Heights) for the last 4 years. I love driving (unless it's dead-stop traffic, that's sitting) and riding motorcycles. Motorsports I love watching are MotoGP, WSBK, BSB, F1, Rallycross, and some drifting. There's so much more to the motorsport-world than just turning left Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I don't hate you

I know that mr Level xo is in the same boat as you. Personally, i hate nascar, unless its at sonoma or watkins glen (its funny watching them try to go round corners). However, my fav motorsports are F1, Supercross, rally, rallycross, endurance racing, indycar, and occasionally DEM and touring cars.

I have raced IRL since I was knee- high to a midget! All types, carts to motorcycles to mini sprints, back to motorcycles. But can only stand watching motocross... Everything else especially NASCAR, is like watching paint dry... Zzzzzz.. Zzz No hate for ya bro.

I am one of the rare people that likes Nascar apparently. Most people think about it as circles with no skill but quite the contrary. One slight wrong move and you are in the wall. Nascar is the only thing really broadcast here oh and indy cars. We never see rally or GT of any kind (at least not on the regular channels that come with basic cable)
Opposite in videogames. I do own every NASCAR made but use them purely for teh lulz and crashes. I much perfwr playing other racing games but im not really into sim games. Yes i have all the forzas but i still would rather race in nfs the crew or gta anyday lol the sims get boring

I don't watch or care for Motorsports either but I'm good at the games. I'd rather play the game then watch real cars go around the track. Lol. Everything I know about racing comes from video games anyways. I don't have a license IRL but I have driven before when I was in High School. Some people have find it surprising that I don't watch racing things IRL, but it is what it is.

Never seen anything on Regular channels only Speed channel which was a premium channel i think speed got replaced with velocity and Fox Sports, at least on FiOS. I miss SPEED. Used to love watching Monster Jam as a kid to the point my mom couldnt stand hearing that guys voice anymore. Now its mostly the sound of motorcycle engines revving up to jump a triple. Just as good i guess!!

Hahah I'm the opposite of you, no hate to you bud. I can understand hatred towards motorsports whilst being born in south California.

I'd like to start watching more of the other racing series, but I never know when/what channel they're on. I suppose it would help to know their schedules. I wish NASCAR would add more road courses to the schedule, too.

I feel pretty much the same way. I've literally have never watched or been interested in any form of racing in my life. Not even F1. I find it extremely boring to watch. I've never really played other racing games either. I played Gran Turismo 1 on PS1 many years ago but since then, I haven't got hooked on a racing game, especially simulators. I had Forza when i first got my XB1 and just never played it. I find them pretty dull. However, do I love cars and I've been hooked on pretty much every GTA game. Driving in these games has always been my favourite aspect of the whole experience. On GTA IV I never had a good enough internet connection to play online, but since V all I do is race. It's some of the most fun I've had playing a game for a long time. It's actually pretty strange that simulators bore me yet I found myself seeking a crew that races on GTA as cleanly and competitively as possible haha. And as for stereotypes I don't really agree nor disagree with you since I'm over in the UK. What i will do is take a risk by voicing a sterotype opinion of my own..... PLEASE NOBODY TAKE OFFENCE, but In my opinion MOST BMW drivers(my dad is one) I have come across just drive up your arse on the motorway even if your speeding, itching to overtake and normally beep or flash, expecting you to get out of their way as if they own the road. As if owning a BMW in some way gives them the right to be pissed off at you for only driving your Ford Fiesta at 85mph instead of 100. Again, that's only most, not all.
