So here we are for the second season of the Nonchalant Dominance Multi-Class Endurance Championship. Quite a few changes have been made from Season One, the most notable being the addition of 11 new drivers and a completely new racing class. This season we'll be running GT1, GT2 and GT3 over 10 one and a half hour races and with 27 drivers in each. All the information and rules for the championship can be found here: bit.ly/MCEC2info
That will be the primary place for rules, race calendar, results, championship tables, etc for the entire season and will no doubt be linked everywhere. Make sure to read the first tab in full and familiarise yourself with the championship so you're ready to go on the 8th Feb. This will be the main thread for discussion, posting pictures and results, asking for reserves, etc. What I need from you guys is to now PM me with your team sponsor (must be a GTA V company), team colours (primary/secondary) and who is going to be racing in each class from your team. Please try to keep this to yourselves as it makes it more interesting when I reveal them all together if nobody knows the make-up of other teams, which I'll do on stream on Sunday 1st Feb. At some point before the 4th or 5th Feb I'd also like to see team pictures of your cars (from any class) with chosen colours and perhaps the team sponsor somewhere in there too. I'll use one of these pics to link on the spreadsheet which will in turn be linked in the video about this championship going up on the 4th or 5th, hence the date request. I'll now list and tag everyone in the championship and the teams you're in, as well as reserve drivers for reference. For those who want to see the draw happen live with chat reactions go to 10:50 here: www.twitch.tv/broughy1322/b/615974323 If any of you are needing to back out at this point due to not being able to make dates/times now would be the time to declare it. And if you want to sign up as a reserve (or take yourself off the list) you're welcome to do so here too. Start procedure post: nodo.freeforums.net/post/34698/threadR.O.N. " Start Position Throughout the course of the 10 round championship each driver will start in every position once. Every driver will be on pole position for one race, 2nd on the grid for one race, etc. The grid for the final round will be based on championship position. Start Procedure There will be a formation lap at the start of each race where drivers will get into their positions within their class with 3 distinct groups for GT1, GT2 and GT3. This will be shorter than a regular lap to minimise time taken. Drivers will end the formation lap by lining up on the grid in a staggered (F1-style) order, with the back bumper of the first car being in line with the front bumper of the second, and so on. A reasonable gap must be left between each class Everyone must be lined up ready to start the race by 5 minutes on the timer. Between the 5 minute and 5 minute 30 second mark a sticky bomb explosion will officially start the race. " Finally a proper way to start the race and minimizing the risk of crashes only because of the starting grid. I like

For the coupes race its going to be very difficult to distinguish each class because all 3 cars look very similar.

Interesting starting method. Is it really possible to detonate a sticky bomb where everybody can see/hear it AND no car gets destroyed?

I'd love to participate but I tend to work weekends. Now if you did a mid-week racing series... Then again, if it kicked off at 1830 GMT (1330 EST) for an hour and a half race then I could have done it. Since the teams have already been sorted I suppose I'll just have to catch it on Twitch!

Sorry, I need to touch upon this. Why the time change? While I am sure I could make it somehow, I would much prefer the original timeframe of 7-10 pm, which we all signed up for, for personal reasons.
While we are at times, an explicit note on DST would be welcome, as it can be non-trivial for people outside the UK to find out about it.

It's to accommodate the xbox race happening afterwards and to ensure it doesn't run on too late if we have issues and delays for example. Also keeps it consistent with the times from last season. DST in the UK comes into effect for round 7 onwards where the clocks will be moved forward one hour.

Btw the first team to declare your team sponsor gets that sponsor, so if two teams choose the same sponsor the first to send me message or declare it here gets that sponsor.

Last time many of the teams went for darkish colors. It was hard to separate them at night. Another problem we had then was the lag when opening the splits. Me and Alfi had yellow cars. Lifeinvader had red. The rest had some kind of darker colors. Why not use some more distinguish colors for the teams so it will be easier to separate each teams in the race? Maybe not the biggest problem, just to spice it up a bit

Not a bad suggestion from lancer. Light colours or at least colours to distinguish different teams are good. Two teams have already been chosen and I'll add them to the spreadsheet as they're declared.

I have only just managed to get into the crew but have watched all the youtube videos from the first season. I think this is a great idea - adding 3x groups will really mix things up a bit more. Some events could lead to a tight race between all the classes (GT 2 and GT 3 will be close).
For the colours - the Primary colours for each team should be. Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black, White, Purple, Pink, grey (that's 9 total) That way each team is easy to spot. would make it much easier when watching the Youtube Videos after and when sorting out the grid.
I have only just managed to get into the crew (always full). But I race most nights after 7:30pm UK time. I am a clean racer and happy to help if needed.
Looking forward to this championship and seeing who wins. Good luck to all the teams.

Good to see there will be a good mixture in terms of how far apart the GT classes will be. I imagine round 8 will be an especially Close one where there will be a good mixture of all 3 GT classes crossing the finish line intertwined in eachother. Still lacking a Sports Classics and Vans event though

We will be doing some testing for the start so we'll iron out any issues before the first event I know this is a pretty crazy idea but since we will be doing a GTA race, what do you guys think about a Le Mans style start where we have to run to our cars. Is something like that be possible? I think it is and it would be very very cool too.
