Predict your Premier League 2020/21 table by replying to this thread. After the season has ended the person who predicted the final table most accurately wins. At the end of the season I will see who has won by calculating how many places out everyone predicted each team. I will calculate the scores in a fewest points wins format. For example if you predict a teams position correctly you score 0 points, if you predict a team to finish 3rd and they finish 6th you score 3 points etc. The person with the fewest amount of points wins. You can edit your predictions from now until the first whistle of the Fulham v Arsenal game this Saturday. The 20 Premier League Clubs for you to copy and paste: Arsenal Aston Villa Brighton Burnley Chelsea Crystal Palace Everton Fulham Leeds Leicester Liverpool Manchester City Manchester United Newcastle Sheffield United Southampton Spurs West Brom West Ham Wolves

I think Liverpool will win the league again this season but I doubt it will be a one horse race with Chelsea, City and United all in with a chance. Then I see a bit of a gap to the next bunch of teams with Spurs, Leicester, Wolves and Arsenal. I don't think Newcastle have anything to be worried about after signing Callum Wilson, they should come mid-table. Brighton have done some good business siging Lallana and Veltman so I can't see them in the relegation scrap come the end of the season. Likewise I can't see Leeds being relegated and think they will have a strong first season in the Premier League like Sheffied United did last season and Wolves the season before. Wouldn't be surprised if the other two promoted teams, West Brom and Fulham get relegated but I have given West Brom the benefit of the doubt. After narrowly avoiding relegation last season I don't see the new signings of Mattie Cash and Ollie Watkins keeping Villa in the Premier League. Similarly West Ham have only made one signing in Soucek and have lost talented youngster Diangana to West Brom which is why I've predicted relegation for the hammers.

So here are the scores (lowest wins): drpepperz97 - 48 points MikeBWFC - 60 points vxwk - 62 points TallestJohn - 68 points (Only picked 19 teams so the team he didn't pick, Villa, to the bottom of the prediction by default) thejp15 - 76 points Congratulations to drpepperz97 on the win and for getting 6 teams bang on. Season Review: Last season Sheffield United tripped us all up with a great season with most of us predicting them to head straight back down to the Championship, this year they tripped us up again by finishing last in the league with most of us predicting a mid-table finish for them. 3 of us predicted Man City would win the league with myself and JP opting for the Liverpool title defence. All of us correctly predicted that Man City, Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea would make up the top 4 apart from John who had an optimistic punt that Arsenal would finish in 4th. The Team That Surprised Us: West Ham. A great season for them saw them finish 6th whereas many of us had them just scraping survival. I even had them to come 19th! The closest guess was 8 places off by JP who predicted them to finish 14th. I will of course make another thread for the 2021/22 season around a week before the start of the season when we've seen how the transfer window played out. Thank you for participating.
