So it is mildly less terrible, ok. i thought it was grerat but we all have different opinions A guy whose government OK'd the shooting down of a civilian airline and who tampered with the evidence implicating them should not be rewarded with glowing media coverage. Fuck Russia. #MH17.

Question? Which of these four teams have won the most championship titles? McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull or Williams. I will say the answer to this question after the Russian GP. Test yourself and See if you can get it SO Russian GP is over so i will reveal the answer to my question.the correct answer was Williams and both Rob B (rb driftin) and Arsenalgunner were the only people to get it right All the stats: Williams had 9, McLaren had 8, Red Bull had 4 and Mercedes had 1 (technically 2 now) I thought it was a well known fact that Williams are the second most successful team of all time behind Ferrari.

Hamilton #1 Vettel #2 Perez #3 I was talking the championship. Mercedes have won the constructors and it doesn't seem like anyone's getting close to Hamilton, surely he'll wrap it up soon? I'm a bit out of the loop tbh It'll happen next race unless something absolutely crazy happens.

Tory tax credit cuts = no Silverstone imo
Although Putin trying to personally hop into bed with F1 and get himself directly associated is a bit different tbf.

Or are we rewarding their invasion and annexation of Crimea? Their brutal repression of gays, women and dissidents? There is no moral justification for giving Russia a grand prix.

Because they didn't literally just do it? Are you 12? I feel like you're 12. To be fair, Germany has had GPs going back over 50 years. iirc, this is the first year they haven't had one. The fact of the matter is that F1 is a business, like any other. Morality doesn't always win out over $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ (or quality/demand of a track :kappa:)

You're sure that Russians wouldn't support all the shit Putin's doing Kifflom? Because they actually probably would, sadly.

endersai I like the way you think. Also, the downing of MH17 wasn't a terrorist attack or if you want to believe it was, then it was state sponsored terrorism. Sponsored by Russia and their forces in Crimea. It's well known that the forces in Crimea may primarily be Ukrainian serparatists, but they're being aided by active Russian military forces. Germany isn't a very good example either. West Germany was banned from hosting international competitions of any sort until 1951, I believe. The German Grand Prix wasn't active during the war. I like the Sochi track. It makes for good racing, but I agree with endersai that Russia shouldn't be rewarded for the shit they're doing right now. I know it's all business and $$$$$$$ (look at FIFA and Qatar and Russia for the World Cup), but these high profile events should be taken away as a part of international sanctions against nations that don't value human rights or other nations' sovereignty. End rant. TL;DR fuck Russia, I like the track, but seriously fuck Russia
