I'll try to make this short, as I'm not very good at expressing myself whenever I put myself in the spotlight. (Or atleast so I feel)
Basically, as some of you might know I have my fair share of experience with the GTA Content Creator. I've been using it actively since Day 1 of it's release, and have been involved in most of the crews focused around the creator throughout my GTA Career. I have tested and reviewed literally thousands upon thousands of tracks in association with the Approved Custom Races thread for Xbox 360 on the gtaforums, and made a few hundred races myself, (about 500 published I think) with approx. 100 currently available on PS4. And I previously had 2 of my tracks R* Verified (The Academic & The Valedictorian).
This is not a brag, it's just my testiment to my experience with the Creator. My references to prove that I'm hopefully able and worthy of reviewing your races if you may. I know some members like LancerEvoWRC is (rightfully so) considered just as gifted, if not more then myself, and I'm not saying I'm necessarily BETTER then anyone. But I do have alot of EXPERIENCE when it comes to reviewing objectively, and giving balanced and open feedback whilst presenting my personal opinions and preferences seperately. So in terms of reviewing and providing feedback on a track I hope you will find that I can be helpful and be an asset. And I also hope anyone I've helped in the past will be able to provide reference that I don't judge your tracks in my reviews, this is purely intended to be a helpful service and noone should be worried about submitting a track for review.
Also, if any other experienced creators in the community want to participate in this service you are very welcome to contact me, and help me out with reviewing tracks. The aim of this service is to share experience and knowledge to help improve the general quality of the creations in the crew.
With that being said introductory, I might need to clarify what this thread is actually about
Basically, I want to offer my services whenever I have time and feel up for it to help you improve your tracks. Both PS3 and PS4 tracks are welcome, and if a video + link is provided I could also try to give some general feedback on XB1/360 creations.
Feedback will happen in a variety of 4 different ways.
#1 - Personalized feedback
We run your track together and go step by step looking at points of improvement. You can point out your areas of concern and I can attempt to help develop solutions, or we can just run through it and I can give a quick first impression on things like flow, checkpoints and whether or not there are any major issues. This requires a microphone for communication.
#2 - Textual feedback
You submit your track for review here, provide a link. I will later run the track based on the level of feedback you want, and provide a review in text format on the forums. Either privately in a msg, or publicly here on the thread depending on what you yourself feel comfortable with, and whether or not I think the feedback is suited for the public eye or better kept private. (I don't want anyone to feel like they are hung out to dry, if anything is particularly "bad", or if it might lead to a larger debate)
#3 - YouTube Review
You submit your track for review here as per textual feedback, just in this case I will be making a video of the track, and stop and show any issues/suggestions similarly to how it would be pointed out textual. Just in this case the review will be mainly visual/audio. Once done the video will then be either posted publicly here and put into a YouTube playlist of track reviews. Or published as unlisted and sent through a private message similarly to the way it's one with textual feedback if there is any reason to think this might be the better choice, or it has been requested by you.
#4 - Twitch Review (Live)
This will be more similar to personalized feedback, where I will stream your track live on my Twitch channel, and provide you with the level of feedback you wish. Whether it just be certain areas of the tracks that you are concerned about, or a full on step-by-step analysis live, where you are able to ask questions in regards to anything you find hard to understand or disagree with.
Keep in mind this is a free & voluntary service, and I cannot guarantee to provide the same level of service at all times, and to be available at all times. But I will do my best to help out as much as I can. You are free to submit any amount of tracks that you like, and submit them for as many different types of reviews at any level of depth that you want. But do keep in mind that my time IS limited, and that this wont be the only thing I do when I'm online, so if you ask for a very indepth review you should do so because you are thoroughly interested in the feedback you get, and not just to get your track in the spotlight. Just submitting tracks to submit them, if you don't have any interest in the feedback you may get will occupy time in which I could be helping someone else who's actually interested in getting good and proper feedback. So if you just want your track showcased, there's nothing wrong with that. But specify that when submitting it, and let me know you just want me to do a quick run through it.
If you want your track reviewed, please submit the following information:
[Track Name] - [Social Club Link]
[Type of Feedback]
[Private/Public]
If you have a Video you can submit it
Also quickly describe what you want me to analyze about the track. This could just be generic, asking me to look for flaws or room for improvement in general, or it could be detailed asking me to look at a specific spot where you want to find a way to save props, or something like that.
