A mass playlist with the most possible racers per race sounds great, but we do have to consider dropped connections at that point. Not a mass playlist, but more than 1 race. Example: I like races with 8 people more then 1v1 races. If you hit something it's race over, with more players you can still fight for a spot in the points.

My vote goes to at least 8 players per race. That puts it at 4v4. Enough teamplay to keep it interesting, still some racing going on. 1v1 races aren't a show of all racing skills. 8 v 8 could be fun, but the tracks would have to be up to par. And one laggy player could hold up half of the field. As for tracks, how about a few members from both crews get together and decide on tracks. Some guidelines might be to have at least two from each crew, but it's not really necessary. I think in a group chat everyone would have the competition's best interests at heart and not try to cheat each other.
As to who to pick, that's simple. Post a thread asking about who's interested. Now you're down to 15 or so entrants. I think everyone in the thread can mostly thin themselves out. For example, there are some NODO members who I know are faster than me, so I would yield my spot to them. And if you get down to a few spots and no one will yield, you could have a race-off or have a few active members to vote anonymously.

I dont know if something happens but if it does I want to be a part of it. I believe getting the people gathered is pretty easy (I have got very strong racers to recomend). As for the playlist each crew will choose a playlist and send it to the profiles (on R soc.club) of the other crews players (8 players max, nothing difficult) 5 days before the event so we familiarise our shelves with the track (if they are custom). It can't be that diffucult.

So they can still get al te information easier etc. We can also have, besides PS3/Xbox, have multiple groups. Groups off 4 people, if there are too many people who want to race, like a good group, a better or something, or mixed groups. And I would prefer standard races so not non-contact, but than there should be something like disqualified for pitting?

The way is see it:
PS3 and Xbox
NoDo vs Gunit his crew (If this goes well maybe other racing crews in the future.)
-4vs4 (maybe multiple groups) -Playlist (10r, 5 selected by each crew, GP style -> not a race where only one car can fit trough) -Standard race (No non-contact) -Slipstream off -Catch-up off -Clean and fair races (maybe work something out to disqualify people with bad behaviour?) -The points from the first 2 members from each crew every race will be added to the crewpoints. -Members who want to race sign up, or they can recommend other crewmembers.
The crew with the most points wins !

If I had to nominate an 8 man team that didn't have broughy all of these guys(and gal) are fast. Twili Aoi Crazy RDT BlueEyed Dod Haydug Hella
also if anyone feels slighted. Don't. I may just not have played with you, so I have no idea how quick you are. I've played with all these people, and they're like the best I've ever raced against. I have never gotten first place with one of these people in the lobby. Probably not even second or third if there's a few of them.

We could do more than one playlist simultaneously on Xbox and ps3. Just have a few moderators to keep tabs on the standings.

Sounds good to me. We should also make sure the races are long enough so every aspect of a racer gets tested. I would suggest having each race be a minimum of 5 minutes long. So that would mean having 6-7 laps on the shorter tracks so there is plenty of opportunity for battles between the 2 crews and possibly some great team strategy moments.

Sounds great. It would be good if someone inside could set up a stream so the whole crew/internet fandom can watch.
Now a bit of an advice if I may. I have quite some experience planning events offline and online, and I can tell you, there is no need for extensive planning of grand events. Make it a bit more down to earth the first time, then expand, based on previous experience. There also needs to be one person from each crew who is the ultimate overseer of the event, and has the last word when it comes to any disputes on how to do things. So if Blauze or Zenzi are the person behind our side of the event, may they come forward and start deciding things, thus setting them in stone. As I said, I think there's no need for everything to be perfect. I'm sure people will want more of these events, there will be time for improvements after the first event. From my experience it's best to go simple, as someone going retard at some point is very probable, so no complicated 1v1 duels. Throw the people in one big playlist for a good show and good racing.
Now, as for selecting people who will race for us, I think we should just set up a poll of people that want to race, and then vote for the ones we want to see representing us. Us here on the forums probably know who the fast guys are, and as there's no need for setting up the perfect team the first time, it doesn't need to be based entirely on tangible results. I also think we don't need to inform people outside of this forum, at least not in the way that will make every stranger kid want to go racing in the big leagues (perhaps just a little nod in one of Broughy's videos or a quick post on RSSC that people can look forward to the event stream/video). The most serious racers should be already here, and if this even has any good video made from it, it should only draw more people here, as they'll want to be able to participate in the future.
Oh yeah, I've been going on about all these videos and stuff. I think there needs to be some kind of media from the event we can spread across YT/Twitch. Maybe I've mentioned that my brother used to do CoD commentaries to some of you guys online, so there's some decent recording equipment I could borrow. So if noone else more qualified would do it, I'd probably be able to make some recording happen.

hey fellas, sorry to randomly drop in on this. Im one of the Apex Stalker commissioners and noticed this thread whilst browsing on here. We've been after a Crew Vs Crew event for a bit now so if you guys are still interested in doing one we can hopefully get something sorted out. I suspect it would be predominantly PS3 based as were a little bit lopsided in that respect but even so it would be great to have a friendly competition with you guys.
Let me know if there's any interest in something like this as it could be good fun!

Great idea Blauze! A bit of competition never hurt anyone I'd agree with Renegade1911, keeping it simple (at least at first) is probably for the best, at the end of the day we just want to see great racing and don't need too many rules (DQs for pitting someone gets my vote) get in the way. Even though I'm new here, and not raced with may of you so you can't really judge if I'm quick or not I'd like to throw my name into the hat as a PS3 driver!

I'd love totake part in this on the PS3 side altough I don't know if I were to be good enough. Imo we should just keep it simple the first time so we can later improve on that, just one big playlist and see which crew has the most added up points at the end, and if a lot of people want to join just make it 2 playlists.

I'd love to take part in this, but I know I'm not in the top 8 of NoDo. Would be fun to watch though.
