Hello everyone, here's something different.
I'll ask you 20 questions, and your goal is to answer me with 20 games. This isn't a contest or anything, every answer is valid and personal, this is in the spirit of getting to know each other as gamers. It's even better if you tell us why you chose those answers by leaving a few lines of text below each question. You don't have to, but I recommend it.
Here are the 20 questions :
1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ? 2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ? 3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ? 4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ? 5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ? 6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ? 7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ? 8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ? 9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ? 10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ? 11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) 12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ? 13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ? 14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question) 15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ? 16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ? 17) What is the latest game you purchased ? 18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? 19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ? 20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ?
There you go :) I'll give my own answers later after one of two replies. Please enjoy and tell your friends.

1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ? Dark Souls 2.There is nothing out there that compares to the Souls games. 2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ? I never really got Battlefield. 3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ? Final Fantasy 6. I loved FF7-10 when I was younger but never had a SNES. Replayed FF6 in 2012 and loved the hell out of it. 4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ? Legend Of Dragoon for PS1. A classic JRPG with cool characters and an awesome story. Enjoyed it deeply back in the days. 5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ? Not sure what this question means tbh 6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ? Call of Duty campaigns. 7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ? CD Project RED. They seem like the coolest of dudes ever. They made the Witcher games btw. 8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ? Demon Souls/Dark Souls. Those games have the most unique online features out there. (Watch Dogs imitaded some of them rather closely) 9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ? I still like Tetris. 10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ? Again. The Souls games. Super tight gameplay mixed with unique and innovative ideas in a super immersive and intense game world. With mystery and wonder and a big fucking challenge. 11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) None. Ever. I'm really not a haptic person. I don't need physical stuff. 12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ? There is no specific one. Most of the AAA games these days. They are so watered down and try to appeal to so many people that the games really loose their soul. I want excentric shit. I wanna be surprised. I don't wanna be hold by the hands. I don't want standard game 101. 13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ? I never played a console Mario game. That is something I'd like to try with a real console (not an emulator). 14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question) Nothing comes to mind as of late. Bastion had an awesome soundtrack a few years back. 15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ? Champios of Norrath, Champions: Return to Arms. I'd love a new game in that series. 16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ? I don't want any game series to end. Just make the gaps between releases at least 2 years. Then shit will become a little more exciting again. 17) What is the latest game you purchased ? Serious Sam HD: The 2nd Encouter. I bro'd up with a buddy. Nuff said. 18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? Ask me after E3. 19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ? I had an Eyetoy for the PS2. That was quite fun. No fucks are given otherwise. 20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? Tetris. It made my mum get my old Gameboy when I upgraded to a Gameboy Colour.

1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ? This year would have to be Trials Fusion. It's the only game right now that really pulls me away from GTA.
2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ? Never got into 'Final Fantasy' or 'Metal Gear Solid' games.
3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ? Recently started playing Forza 3 after playing Forza 2 many years ago, and I love it.
4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ? BULLY! Probably well known but I can't stress how awesome this game is, IMO. Another R* great.
5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ? Get back to you.
6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ? Turn-based combat RPGs.
7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ? Rockstar has done no wrong in my eyes thus far, so I trust them to continue churning out great games.
8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ? GTA V.....that's about it.
9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ? Goldeneye on the N64 was and still is the bomb.
10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ?
That's a tough one, I'll get back to you on that. Having thought about it, I'd have to say Red Dead Redemption. It combines a phenomenal story, great characters, great mechanics, awesome setting, and does just about everything that could be done to make a game great.
11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) I've never bought goodies because of video games, but I have my fair share of Batman memorabilia.
12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ? Saints Row IV. I haven't played it but it looks and sounds like a shameless re-skinning of SR3, which was pandering to the wrong demographic. Such a disappointment compared to SR2.
13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ? Haven't bought a Battlefield game to date, but have always been intrigued.
14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question) I'd say Bully again. The music really sets the mood and is just straight up awesome. Also to a lesser extent, Limbo. As much as I want a sequel, I feel that the first game might be ruined by one.
15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ? The Red Dead series deserves another game, and hopefully one is in the works.
16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ? Call of Duty. Black Ops 2 was the last CoD I'll ever buy, unless something truly groundbreaking happens.
17) What is the latest game you purchased ? Trials Fusion.
18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? Get back to you on that.
19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ? Haven't really done motion sensor gaming (i.e. Kinect) but I always had fun with Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and *cough* Dance Dance Revolution *cough.* Probably don't count though.
20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? Ocarina of Time. Holy crap, what a phenomenal game. Quite possibly the greatest game of all time for me.

1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ? Titanfall, many people hate it but I found it fun. Plus, I was good at it and got tired of Halo 4.
2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ? Have any of the Call of Duty games been critically praised? If so, then it's one of them. I hate Call of Duty with a passion.
3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ? Shadow of the Colossus. This game is freaking awesome. I had seen it before but never found it interesting until I actually got to play it around 3 years ago.
4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ? Lollipop Chainsaw. I had soooo much fun playing this game and many people seem to have no idea about it. I blame the marketing, only found out about it because I'm into Cosplay. (I don't do it, but many of my friends do and I find it fascinating)
5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ? Don't really understand the question.
6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ? Sports games. I hate sports.
7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ? Bethesda.
8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ? Watch_Dogs. The online gameplay had to be good, and to me it is.
9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ? Twisted Metal. Death, destruction, guns, and cars. AWESOME.
10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ? Well, I expect different things from different genres. So I don't have a specific game for this question.
11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) Kingdom Hearts 2. Haven't bought goodies relating to any other game, ever.
12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ? There are too many that are just... Awful. Ugh.
13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ? Is Dark Souls in this category now? If so, that.
14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question) Anything from the Kingdom Hearts series. I've never listened to a game's soundtrack as much as I have for any Kingdom Hearts games.
15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ? Rage. The ending left room for a sequel because it was so brief, but I haven't heard anything about one.
16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ? Final Fantasy. I love the games and the characters, but they seem to be getting a little bland.
17) What is the latest game you purchased ? Watch_Dogs
18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? Destiny. People are starting to call it "Bungie's version of Borderlands" or whatever. I think it'll be great.
19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ? Haven't really played any.
20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? Kingdom Hearts 2. Well, you'd have to get through 1 first which isn't as good as 2. I tried to get my friend into it and it didn't catch on. Some people aren't meant to enjoy video games.

20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? Anything with guns and cars.

1st, I gotta thank you Blauze for compiling this list. Broad and original, just what a passionate gamer needs to spread his gaming views. 1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ? Watch Dogs-pretty cool game, and longer than I expected. I thought it was gonna be an overhyped mess, but Ubi really delivered here. 2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ? Diablo 2-just not my type of game, plus I didn't get to play it when it was still hot, so I couldn't bond with it, so to speak, as most of my friends did. 3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ? Does GTA 4 count? Got to play it in 2010. I was in an MMO bubble around 2007-9, not really caring about other games much. 4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ? GTA 4 isn't really lesser known, but I think people don't appreciate it enough. That's why I take every chance to persuade someone about its qualities. 5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ? GTA seem sto be a recurring theme here. Also Mass Effect. I'd challenge you to a duel just to win an argument about ME3's ending. (I don't care what people say, I loved it) 6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ? Anything turn-based. 7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ? Gabe Newell, probably. Not for his games, but because he's likely to know the way to the nearest burger joint. 8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ? GTA 5
9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ? Didn't get to play a great variety of games as a kid. So TES III: Morrowind is probably the oldest of the ones that I loved that I still replay to this day. Also, no other game will ever match the amount of love and fond memories I have from Morrowind. 10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ? GTA 5. It's multiplayer is awesome, but they didn't skimp on the singleplayer one bit. Too many games do that today. Plus, GTA 5 has great gameplay, but is also very deep. I need that to be able to truly enjoy a videogame. 11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) Star Wars: The Old Republic. I don't play in anymore, but that does not make my CE's Darth Malgus figure any less sick. 12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ? Well, any recent CoD game, really. Also Saints Row 4. Such a shameless, disgusting, bland, lame, ugly, stupid, just plain fucking terrible recycle of a game that was already not too good. At least it didn't have a thousand DLC's glued on top of it. Or did it? I don't even know. It makes me angry just to think about that game. The only thing I liked about it were the credits. (not because it was over, they had some funny pictures included in them) 13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ? Anything from Japan except Pokémon. Pokémon were big in Czech Republic. They made me king of our school for a while, even. But anything else from Nintendo/Sega/Capcom never took off here. So I've never played games like Mario, Zelda, etc.. I don't think I've even ever seen any japanese console other that the Wii. Maybe one day... 14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question) Latest? Well, GTA 5, in that case. I really love anything that Mirror Park or LS Rock Radio have to offer. But my favorite game soundtrack of all time is without a doubt from Morrowind. Jeremy Soule guarantees making a masterpiece of any game soundtrack. 15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ? Well, GTA and Elder Scrolls sequels. But I'm sure they'll come eventually. 16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ? Call of Duty. I'd love for the endless arguing over it to end. Also its playerbase could shift to Titanfall, which is a great game in my opinion. 17) What is the latest game you purchased ? NHL 14 a few weeks back, after having a blast with its local multiplayer during a weekend at my cousins' 18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? Might get back to you on that one. Nothing really comes to mind now. 19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ? I had Eyetoy for PS2. Had a bit of fun with that as a kid. Nothing else, really. I'm not a fan of this motion gimmick. 20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? That's a tough one. GTA 5 or GTA: San Andreas are the best place to start, I guess. Or Sims 3. Installed it on an old PC my little sister uses. She loves that game.

1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ? I havent purchased any games this year yet bc I dont own a next gen console and nothing has really come out for 360 this year that I have wanted yet. 2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ? Zelda, I wasnt into RPG's until Oblivion. 3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ? Minecraft, I was one of those assholes who said it looked like legos. Dont judge a book by its cover. Minecraft is easily one of the most complex games out there at the moment. 4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ? I really struggled with this one bc the majority of games that make it to console are popular on some level but if I had to pick one it would be Geometry Wars its kind of like Asteroids on PCP. Very fun game, used to use play at least one game a day before getting on anything else. 5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ? I can honestly say none, I played Gears, Halo and cod pretty religiously and loved the SP and MP for all those games yet refused to buy all 3 of their most recent releases because the games simply were not good enough. 6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ? Final Fantasy. 7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ? Bethesda is the only current dev that I can trust to put out a great game. Before GTA IV I would of had Rockstar here also. 8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ? I havent bought any games since GTA 5 so it wins by default but Destiny is on my list to watch out for this year. 9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ? Older versions of Pokemon. I play them from time to time still but anything after silver and gold is overkill. Too many pokemon ruined the game for me. 10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ? Hmm well what I expect and what I want are two different things. I expect games to be overhyped and to use pre rendered footage to trick you into thinking the game is good. I also expect every game to be released in Beta form. Its really the standard now. I generally wait a few weeks until reviews from people I consider to be reliable sources come out before purchasing a game as a result. Regardless of genre I want balanced games that feel complete out of the box and anything added truly feels like an addition to the game. This is a big reason I hold Bethesda and previously Rockstar in such high regard. 11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) Spyro the Dragon. Last game I ever bought a strategy guide for. Soon after this game the internet became your number 1 source for info on games. Never bought any posters/action figures. 12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ? EA sports games. Worse than shoving your product out the door unfinished and patching it later EA takes it to another level. They recycle the same mechanics and features yearly rebranding them as something new and once the game comes out the only updates that come are roster updates and even then communities like Operation Sports do a better job than EA themselves. Then to make sure you are forced to buy their new games they systematically shutdown their servers. Every year EA has about 20 games that get the axe making the value of your their games about $1 on resale(literally) and makes buying their games used pointless as you only get half the game without the servers online. 13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ? Portal, I watched one of my favorite youtubers play it ages ago and really really enjoyed it. I should really pick that game up sooner than later... 14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question) Im gonna take this as music created purely for the game and not music that was purchased and used like GTA. That said I have to go with any Bethesda game. Fallout, Elder Scrolls and Wolfenstein all set the mood very well and when the fight music starts your heart starts racing. 15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ? Goldeneye. Anyone whos been around a while will agree this is one of the best shooters of all time. There is a Goldeneye Source mod(half life 2) but a proper reboot should of happened years ago. 16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ? There are a lot that immediately come to mind heres a few: Gears, Halo, Cod, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Mario, Assassins Creed. 17) What is the latest game you purchased ? GTAV 18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? UFC despite being Produced by EA the company that is developing it did an amazing job with Fight Night Champion and this is one of those few games that they make that wont come out annually. Im not sure how multiplayer will be because every fighting game ever that went online is riddled with unbeatable combos that make the games unenjoyable but I can promise you the singleplayer will be good. Defeating Bruce Lee will be one of the tougher things to do in any game. I can say that with confidence after failing more times than I care to count to beat the Final Boss of Fight Night Champion. 19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ? Wii sports was fun for about 5 minutes. Before that I guess Duckhunt? There really havent been any games that were must play that used motion as its main control. If racing games with a wheel count then they take the cake and Im not really sure why they wouldnt.
Edit: Silent Scope if you are old enough that you acually played arcade games at arcades then you will remember this sniper game. It was pretty fun. 20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? Minecraft. There are elements of the game that are simple enough for anyone to understand while still including complex elements such as redstone that almost require an engineering degree to be good at. Here is a video of a working calculator built within the game using only pistons and redstone. Ive also seen many games built within the game itself such as Pong, rockem sockem robots, snake, Sonic the Hedgehog aswell as working computers within the game itself. Ill link a few of these also.

1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ? GTA:V seeings as it's the only new game I've played this year. 2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ? There are too many to list here. 3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ? Half-Life 4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ? Happy Wars, though I'm not entirely sure if it's not well known. 5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ? None. My principles are paramount to my decisions on whether I like a game, or not. 6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ? I'm generally neutral normally so games don't have much to do with it. 7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ? Bethesda, or Bioware. I tend to love the games they come out with. Blizzard is on the fringe. 8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ? GTA:V 9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ? The first Halo. It has one of my favorite campaign missions to date. 10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ? The only baseline I have for games is that they be entertaining. 11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) Gears of War 12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ? Final Fantasy. All of them. 13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ? No. 14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question)
15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ? Either Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning, or Dust: An Elysian Tail. I loved the combat in KoA, though the game was a bit too easy. I want to see a continuation of the story of Dust. 16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ? Final Fantasy. All of them. 17) What is the latest game you purchased ? The last game I bought was the first Mass Effect. It was on sale for $2.50 so I figured why the hell not? 18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? I would have to say Sunset Overdrive, or Evolve, though I'm not sure how indifferent people are toward them. 19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ? I'm not one for motion gaming, so I never played any. 20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? I would probably go with Portal. The humor was great, and the game was short enough that they wouldn't feel like it was dragging on.

1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ? Didn't buy any 2014 titles yet.
2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ? Most of today's FPSs (COD, BF, Halo etc.)
3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ? Metal Gear Solid 1. Hooked to the series ever since.
4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ? Pokémon: Type Wild
5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ? Assuming the question means which series I would go all out to put on a pedestal, defying all logic in the process, then none. I used to do so for Devil May Cry though. Then Ninja Theory happened.
6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ? *Insert sport here* *insert year here*
7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ? Former Clover, now Platinum Games and Tango Gameworks
8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ? GTAV, like most others.
9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ? Warcraft III The Frozen Throne, but mainly because of the many custom maps, which are pretty much standalone games in their own right.
10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ? Can't really think of any in particular. Many have their own ups and downs.
11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) None.
12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ? Mostly anything that is a yearly release.
13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ? Probably one of the Super Robot Wars games.
14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question)
And the (personal) surprise tearjerker
15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ? Gundam Battle Assault series. Battle Assault 3 feat. Gundam Seed had a good concept, but the roster was a joke.
16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ? Yearly releases, and sadly, Metal Gear Solid and Devil May Cry series.
17) What is the latest game you purchased ? GTAV
18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? No idea.
19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ? I don't play motion-gaming titles. Probably never will.
20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? Metal Gear Solid 3.

Trowa, don't feel bad about Fight Night Champion. Isaac Frost was a cyborg created by Skynet.

Trowa, don't feel bad about Fight Night Champion. Isaac Frost was a cyborg created by Skynet. Truer words have never been spoken. 1 punch from him had you stunned instantly. To this day I have never even come close to beating him lol

1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ? GTA and it just keeps getting better.
2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ? Call of Duty. I lost a bunch of my Halo buddies to that series but I think it's inferior in every way.
3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ? Trials Evolution was out for a year before I tried it. It was so addicting, I didn't play anything else for months.
4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ? There's a game on Steam called "Lunar Flight". It's a physics based game on the moon where you have just enough fuel to complete a flight in a lunar lander. It's based on the old 80's arcade game "Lunar Lander" except this one is a 3D sim instead of a side scroller. The atmosphere and physics are incredible.
5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ? Huh?
6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ? Sports (except golf). I do play sports in real life though.
7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ? None, although Rockstar comes the closest.
8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ? Trials Fusion.
9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ? The first Tomb Raider games still do it for me.
10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ? GTA.
11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) Halo 4. I have a McFarlane Halo figure on my entertainment center.
12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ? Call of Duty. That game is inferior to Halo in almost every aspect but marketing. Unfortunately, most of my friends are easily brainwashed by marketing.
13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ? No because I would've already tried it.
14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question) GTA and Read Dead Redemption raised the bar on game music.
15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ? Read Dead Redemption.
16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ? All EA Sports.
17) What is the latest game you purchased ? Deadlight (a side scrolling zombie game)
18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? Not a game but I think casual gamers are massively underestimating how much of a hit the Oculus Rift will be when it hits the general public.
19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ? I really haven't done much of that except bowling with my grandma on her Nintendo Wii.
20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? Wii Bowling. If my grandma and her great granddaughter can both have a blast playing the same game, Wii Bowling wins, hands down.

1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ? When I first made this list in 2013, my choice was Blood "Duke Nukem Forever made right" Dragon. I haven't played much 2014 games so far so I'm gonna go with Dark Souls 2. 2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ? If I have to choose one, that'd be Portal. I know it's good. I like riddles and solving puzzles. I just don't really like Portal. 3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ? Arcanum, definitely. In one day, it went from an oldie I didn't know about to my #3 favourite game. 4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ? If this was a French community I'd say Wakfu, just because of all the bad press around it. But I'll go with Iji. This game is really impressive but no one knows it. It's also completely free (link in the video's description), it works on 99% of all computers and it was made by one person alone. It's on my top 20. If there's one game on my list that you should try it's this one. 5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ? Okay, first, I'll admit this question is a bit weird. It's basically a game that you'd defend out of game/brand loyalty, never admitting its flaws even when you know it's bad. Now it doesn't have to be a bad game, just a game you really like. My Answer is Wolfenstein : Enemy Territory. Yes, Team Fortress 2, CoD and BF took all the players away from it, yes it's old, yes the graphics are terribly outdated and yes there are a lot arguably better games now. But hey, it's my favourite, and the mod support on this was the best. Please bring it back, anyone. Best MMOFPS ever. 6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ? Farmville, Mafia Wars, all those Facebook games. 7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ? That would be Bioware. They never disappointed me yet. And when they did, it wasn't their call. If I had to choose one person though, That'd be Chris Avellone of Fallout fame. 8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ? Star Wars Online. People told me a lot of crap about it, then I tested it, and I loved it. The trailers are better than most movies, too. I stopped it a bit when GTA Online got released, but now I'm back on it. 9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ? That would be my favourite game, UFO : Enemy Unknown. 10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ? Fallout : New Vegas. Good scenario, good character design, player choices that actually matters, big replayability, and of course, it's a fun game. But there's one thing that makes it my choice : Mod support. Without it, this game wouldn't be a tenth as fun. And I wouldn't know this. guy. 11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) Tied between Borderlands and Mass Effect, since I bought a Claptrap and a Normandy replicas at the same time during my trip to London. 12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ? Don't hate me, but I'll say The Walking Dead by Telltale. It's a really great interactive story... a good cash-in... But a game ? It's more like a work of art, like a statue of a painting. But not something to have fun while actually "playing" it. Just something to watch and press whatever button to continue. 13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ? Halo. That's it, I'd like to try Halo one day. 14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question) The latest one... Would be VVVVVV's soundtrack. 15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ? ACTRAISER. There's no question about it. People say Half Life 3, or Shenmue 3, but an Actraiser trilogy with a third episode made the way they did Kid Icarus blended with some Civilization elements would be perfect. And also that music...16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ? The Sonic series. It used to be perfect. Now it's... less perfect. 17) What is the latest game you purchased ? I just bought the complete edition of Spore an hour ago. 75% sale on Steam. After years of playing it "for free", it was time. 18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? Mount and Blade 2 : Bannerlord. (the video is actually from a previous game in the series) The first one is my personal time vacuum and I highly recommend it to everyone with a PC. And damnit, Mod Support ! Lots of it ! 19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ? That'd be No More Heroes. That's how you use motion gaming : Not too much. 20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? Legend of Zelda : Link's Awakening. Or Mario Kart 64 for a competitive guy, or Myst for a puzzle solver, etc., but mostly Link's Awakening. It's from the golden age of gaming, it's easy to access with a perfect difficulty curve, a great story, a great soundtrack, some very smooth black and white graphics and... It's arguably the best game of a mythical series. If NASA decides to send a video game to space, they'll send this.

1) Which game did you like the most so far this year ?
Thief. I am a sucker for well made stealth games. To me a good stealth game is more like a puzzle that rewards cleverness, and the new Thief certainly does that.
2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked ?
Bioshock Infinite. I got into Bioshock/ System Shock because of its horror aspect and divergent gameplay, but Bioshock Infinite was a step or 2 backwards for the series in my mind. the story was great, but thats all the praise I can give the game. I really couldn't believe people actually thought that it was the best game that year it came out.
3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless ?
The original Dead Space. I watched a friend play Dead Space 2 just before Dead Space 3 was coming out, and I wanted to try it. So I bought the original, and it is now one of my all time favorite games. Ive played through it at least 10 times, beat the impossible mode with only a plasma cutter, and beat hard mode withought taking any damage.
4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it ?
Killer7. I really could not do this game any justice if I try to explain why it is so great. It is simply a game that at its release (early 2000s) turned common AAA game design on its head. Every person that considers themself a gamer needs to try this game if only to see that game design is not a science by anymeans, and imagination can be a core experiance of a game.
5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy ?
I can honestly say none. I have put more than a healthy amout of hours into the Gears of War franchise. When GoW Judgement was released; though, I held off on buying it because of tweaks to the game I was concerned about. I watched reviews and gameplay, and decided it was not worth my money.
6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral ?
Sports games and Cow Clickers
7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow ?
Grasshopper and Suda 51 if only just to see what crazy story they conjured up in their latest title.
8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features ?
GTA V. I think it goes without saying that this community of like-minded racers is one of the best gaming experiances I have ever had. Before NoDo I had fun with racing games, but I never thought I would take the time to actually improve my skills behind the wheel. We certainly do have an impossible balance between competitiveness and just plain fun.
9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy ?
Final Fantasy VI (or FFIII as you westerners know it) it was my first final fantasy (lol) and I still pick it back up from time to time and give it a playthrough, and now that cellphones are advanced enough to run decent emulators of older consoles I have been playing many of the older FF games I never tried.
10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today ?
Witcher 2. It is not a game that is ment for everyone, but the philosophy of CDprojektRED when it comes to developing and supporting you game after release is something that all developers should examine and learn from.
11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.)
Street Fighter IV. I cosplay Ibuki from time to time. She is one of my favorite video game charaters ever. Ive probably spent more time/money on that costume than the rest of my real world collectable collection combined with the exception of Gundam models. (those things are expensive especially to import)
12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you ?
Assassins Creed 3. I am a huge AC fan, but 3 was an eye opening experiance. the back of the case should have said, "watch old men sign papers, solve the problems of insignificant homesteaders, create a monopoly on the iron nail industry, and yes stab people..... but only when we say its ok to do so which will only be about once every 5 hours of gameplay."
13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day ?
I really want to try The Old Republic, but starting a new MMO it not something I want to do right now.
14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question)
Sleeping Dogs. Below, Lorn-Soft Room
15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced ?
Farcry 3 Blood Dragon. I think alot of people would agree with me that BD desrves a sequal in the form of a full AAA release
16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough ?
Ninja Gaiden. Ninja Gaiden Black is by far and away my all time favorite game, but with each following release and spin-off the NG series just makes a mockery of its former self. Catering to people who couldn't care less about Ninja Gaiden and losing the hardcore crowd that made it a success. Ninja Gaiden Black is still a great game both mechanically and graphically even by today's standards, but the newer games............ I just want them to disapear
17) What is the latest game you purchased ?
Dark Souls? It was free so why not.... but the last game I payed for was Watch_Dogs.
18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it?
Sunset Overdrive. It just looks like a crazy good time. Too many games these days take themselves way too seriously. Sunset Overdrive is not on many peoples radars because of this, but I think it will be a great game.
19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most ?
Twilight Princess. Thats probably the only motion title I ever played and enjoyed. I dont have a Wii anymore, but that game was fun.
20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be ? Minecraft. I dont think I need an explination for that one.

1) Which game did you like the most so far this year? Watch Dogs. I like stealth themed games, and since Assassin's Creed IV was a disappointment I'm glad this showed up when it did.
2) Is there a critically praised game that you personally never liked? The Halo Franchise. I've never liked super arcade-ish FPS games, but Halo hits a strong nerve in particular due to it being one where the popular tactic is jumping around the map like a chicken with its head cut off.
3) Is there a game that you discovered a long time after its release, but enjoyed nonetheless? 007 GoldenEye for the Nintendo 64. Found it about seven years after it was released, but I loved it so much. Still have fond memories of me, my brother and my friend playing and raging about the proxy mines.
4) Which lesser-known game do you want to talk about so that more people know about it? Burnout Paradise. It wasn't too small, but definitely never caught the fanbase I hoped it would have.
5) For which game series would you deny your own principles, as a good fangirl/fanboy? I would say CoD, but as of recent I'm skeptical about the next games quality. Ghosts scared me away from the franchise to be perfectly honest. I'm also a huge fan of Ubisoft, so I often come off as bias when discussing their games.
6) Which type of game leaves you completely insensitive, neutral? CoD. It has nice multiplayer, but the campaign is brutal.
7) Which developer / designer would you blindly follow? Ubisoft. Watch dogs, Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, and soon to be The Division are enough for me to jump off a cliff if they said so.
8) What is the latest game that made you care about online features? GTA:O. Watch Dogs had an underwhelming online, though it made up for it with singleplayer.
9) Among the first games you ever played, which one, if any, do you still enjoy? I still play the old CoDs from time to time, but the Simpsons Hit & Run for Gamecube was something I never grew out of.
10) Which game is the closest to the description of what you expect from video games today? Assassin's Creed 3. It has a decent sized world, a decent story, and reliable mechanics. I would suggest GTA5 or Battlefield 4, but there are too many glitches in either for me to condone those as the standard.
11) What is the last game that made you buy goodies ? (posters, guides, figures etc.) Grand Theft Auto 5.
12) Which game represent the biggest flaws and mistakes in gaming according to you? Battlefield 4 is nearly unplayable, and the new Sims had server crashes at launch so no one could play.
13) Is there a cult gaming series that you never played, but that you'd still like to try one day? Elder Scrolls or Final Fantasy.
14) What is the latest video game music you really enjoyed ? (videos are accepted for this question) Bioshock Infinite.
15) In your opinion, Which game truly deserves a sequel even though it hasn't been announced? Just Cause 2. That is to this day my most played game, easily passing 500 hours in game.
16) On the contrary, which series should've ended by now, or didn't end soon enough? Gears of War, though I've heard Final Fantasy is notorious for dragging things on.
17) What is the latest game you purchased? Watch Dogs
18) Which game do you feel could be a surprise hit, even though people are indifferent about it? Both of the upcoming Tom Clancy games, The Division and Rainbow Six Siege
19) Which motion-gaming title / feature did you enjoy the most? I've played a few, but never enjoyed any. Wii sports wasn't painful, so I think that one takes the cake.
20) You have to choose ONE game to make a complete newbie like video games. Which one would that be? Any CoD except Ghosts. Easy to learn and addicting once played.
