The North Loop Multi-Class Endurance

So next Sunday night (8th June) I'm want to host an endurance race on The North Loop. But it's going to be with a bit of a difference - it's going to be a multi-class event (well, as best we can get anyway).

I'm going to host it on 360 first, the footage of which will turn into a GTA Online Racing video talking about multi-class racing, then I'll do it all again on PS3, the footage of which I hope to live stream. The race will be 10 laps so should last around 50-55 minutes and will obviously give us a full day/night cycle. Xbox race will start at 7pm UK time. PS3 race will start at 9pm UK time.

I want 16 people in the race split into two racing classes. 8 people will drive Elegys, and the other 8 will drive Penumbras. All cars should be fully modded of course but obviously if you're in the Elegy class you won't need to buy another car and mod it up.

So if you're available next sunday and want to join in please post here. The only information I need is what class you'd prefer to be in (or if you're not bothered say that) and whether you're PS3 or 360. Elegy drivers will be going for the overall win and won't need to spend any extra money to race, whereas Penumbra drivers will experience something a little different.

I'll try and mix up the entrants so we have a nice mix in both classes whilst keeping in mind what people would prefer to race, though to ensure we have 8 people in each class I'm not going to give any guarantees that you'll get the class you want. The reason I want to do this is to show rockstar how good this multi-class racing could be and to do a lovely day/night cycle "24 hour" endurance race on the north loop. The crossover might actually come into its own then too

The only thing I ask is that if you sign up you are guaranteeing your attendance and that you won't leave until the race is finished. I would hate to see anyone leaving early if they're last for example. Lets have 16 players start and 16 players finish.

We also now have a team aspect where we'll have 8 teams with 1 Elegy driver and 1 Penumbra driver per team. It's basically just a way to sort the paintjobs and have an extra dimension to the race. All team colours as based on "sponsors" (ie. businesses around GTA V) and some examples of sponsors are here: nodo.freeforums.net/post/2174/thread Teams already existing are listed below so if there are no more team slots feel free to join an already existing team and get the livery sorted for your car. Colours listed are primary/secondary, with secondary being wheel colour too. guidlines for car customisation are light tint on windows, with a carbon roof, GT wing and carbon front and rear bumpers. Side skirts and hoods should be "normal" (not carbon) and show off the secondary colour too. Wheels should also not be carbon and you should add a roll cage. Exposed intercooler also recommended for Penumbra at least.
