Adding insult to injury: driver gets penalised after a DNF-For Liberty Tree by TJ Barry in Tongva Valley, San AndreasRenegade1911, as motorsports fans probably already know, did not manage to finish yesterday's premier endurance race. After a control electronics' malfuntion in his car, his cold streak now continues with a penalty from the race committee. Renegade1911 is to pay a 10,000$ fine for his rude gesture towards a present cameraman, as well as trying to push him away. The driver had this to say for himself: "I was really mad when I exitted the car. We had an electronics malfuncion and the car just stopped without warning. I didn't know what's happening and it wasn't my fault, so you can imagine my anger when I had to park the car by the side of the road. So I had hate, I had anger, and I used them. On the cameraman, unfortunately. I am sorry for that and I apologize, it shouldn't have happened. The camera pointed to my face didn't really help my situation there though. The fine hurts, but I spend that much in a week just on scotch. So it's really the moral sanction that gets to me."Angry driver's momentary loss of nonchalance is apparent.Renegade had more to say regarding the race and his team's future: "Even though I didn't manage to finish the race, I really see it as a personal victory. I had a good, consistent race. Our car was quick and I had a lots of space for myself. I wasn't able to compete with haydugjr I have to admit, but I managed to create a gap between me and the guys fighting for 3rd and 4th place, which I was more than happy with. If it seems I'm too full of myself, well, pardon me, I'm still trying to mend my broken heart here, hehe. I have to compliment my teammate sarconic on his driving too. I mean 4th place may not seem like the most glamorous finish, but he had some crazy fast drivers in front of him, and behind him too, after all, so the time he had for himself to prepare for the race mentally in the Vanilla Unicorn paid off it seems. He really did well for the track, and if we can both make to the checkered flag, I think future holds great things for us. There has been some rumors about possible changes within the league regarding the teams, cars and whatnot, so I hope we can quickly settle that and get back to racing. Definitely look for me next time we're on the track, as I'll be looking to bring the fans a satisfactory finish next time."Xero Gas Racing's Elegy parked by the side of the road. At least the scenery is nice.

If we cant break the silence (how can we survive?) Search inside yourself (and know that you're alive) We must break the silence Now we are alive Silent no longer -Killswitch Engage, Break the Silence CantDrive55Andy breaks his silence regarding the big race on 06/08/14 I was going to do another mock interview with Jock Cranley, but I actually wanted to have a more serious note on this. On Sunday's race, I managed to place last in the Elegy classes. Nobody wants to be "that guy" and I was "that guy." It's definitely unsettling. Everyone always wants to be the best racer. They want to finish first. However, this particular event wasn't necessarily the point of being the best, it was about having fun with the Crew members. While it was disappointing that a few members had timed out (I don't know the exact term, but during the race somehow they were ejected from the race due to network problems). Despite this, being able to Skype chat with my fellow members was a first for me and was definitely pretty cool :-)
Sunday's race left me with so many questions. What can I do to have better lap times? Why did I place so lowly? Also, why didn't I use the bathroom before racing for nearly an hour?! XD. I think the answers are a bit complicated. No matter how good of a racer you think you are, there's always someone better. And if there is a way to do better with those lap times, I myself need to find a way to make that happen. It's not an overnight process. It takes time and dedication.
I think the most important thing I've come to realize is that not everything needs to be taken seriously, in racing aspects. Having more losses than wins isn't the end of the world. What's important is the enjoyment and fun you get out of clean racing. Yeah, your Crew members and Friends are going to beat you. Some will beat you almost every single time you race them. And that's ok. They've worked just as hard (and even harder) than you have to perfect their craft. And I think that's what racing is all about: Having fun with your buddies.
I don't know when the next event will be, but I hope to participate in it as well. Even if I can't, I just enjoy watching everyone give it their all. There's a helluva lotta good people here! They push me to do better and to keep going. Oh, also sometimes it's just fun to play bumper cars in Free mode with Fire trucks. XD. If you made it this far, thanks for reading :-)

@kelevera51x Well then I dare say that I made a smart decision, as I purposefully slowed down once to give haydug and his "glitch zone" more space, so I wouldn't get hit. I knew it was unlikely I would be able to keep up in the long run, so better stay there then end up in a ditch. Then I got to watch how both you and Craig 9876 got wrecked trying to overtake him. #nextleveltactics.

we should really try to streamline this process so we can do these events every two weeks or something. it doesn't have to be as lavish as this one per se. But having things like this is nice.
