May I have you attention! I present to you the Xero Gas promotional line of photographs! You can be cool, but you never be our Penumbra driver sarconic paraschuting down to a Xero Gas still life cool! If you could see behind our hired master photographer (courtesy of Xero Gas), you could see our opponents RONning away in fear! A detailed look on the road beast of Xero Gas Race Team. When not on the track, our cars are being worked on by the dedicated team of Xero Gas mechanics, who will squeeze every last bit of horsepower from them. And yes, you can see the weather wasn't entirely on our side during the shoot, but you would be foolish to think that a mere rain can hinder our devotion to bring our fans the media coverage they deserve. And lastly, please see the obligatory Xero Selfie of the Day. For what are we if not homo socialis? Don't forget to notice our fashionable team outfit! That is all from the Xero Gas media team. But don't worry, the raceday draws near and we promise to update you with every bit of the juicy behind-the-scenes information you want to see the moment we get it!

So what has everyone in the penumbra's been getting? I just got a 06.00.556 but I feel like I can still improve on that. Also we found out that a stock schyster is faster then a fully modded penumbra that just shows how terrible that thing is.

I expected the Penumbra to be slow, but I had no idea it would get outclassed by a stock Fusilade. The Elegy almost has a minute per lap over the Penumbra.. DNF fest on Sunday?

Yeah, we'll have to sort that out somehow. People say that you need half the field to finish to start the timer. Even if that's true, it all the Penumbras still likely won't fit into that 20 second window. I think we could just end the race one lap sooner. The final lap could be for the winner to celebrate and do some burnouts or something.

Loving the stories and team pics guys Also, if it is the case that half the field need to finish before the timer starts (would need to be checked) then the final elegy driver could just not cross the finish line until just before the first penumbra driver. At least it gives some time for penumbras to finish.

It's just that the acceleration and straight line speed alot better is with the schyster than the penumbra.

Right, shall I set a team up with the remaining Elegy racer ? There are two team slots left. If you want to set one up now would be the time. Then someone can just join your team

Yes this is what I was thinking of f everyone just waits at the finish line in order we won't get to see the time differences but we will still have the right order of people and everyone can finish

He knows he's finishing last so he can wait (punishment for finishing last? ), and at least we get the time differences for the other drivers.

Fair enough. but to be honest broughy I don't think there will be alot of people within 30 seconds of you assuming the elegy's take 1st to 8th, so that would still only make the first few prenumbra's finish

At least it gives some time for penumbras to finish. I don't think that's gonna be enough. I bet there will easily be a 20 second gap between the leader and the last Elegy by the end of lap 1. I think giving that one extra lap could be good. However as we all know from Dr. Ray De Angelo Harris' book, when two become one problems can arise. Meaning if two cars finished really close together, the final results could be up for debate. I don't think that's gonna happen on a race this long, but I once won the Long Haul 2 by only a milisecond.

Trying to join the PostOP Team on PS3 with penumbra, finding out what "saddle brown" means in german and contacting my team leader if it´s ok for him so you could possibly already add me to the PostOP Team.

MrMister - you'd be surprised, I suck now XD @renegade - The last Elegy not crossing the line would mean the timer wouldn't start until the first penumbra crossed it. Maybe reducing the race to 9 laps and having the 10th be a "cooling down" lap so we all get in formation and cross the finish line in the correct order would work, but it would require everyone to be on the same page which isn't easy for 16 people.
